The Mysterious Alchemist
Lies of Pplayers come across Giangio in the Path of Misery. He looks distressed and shares his story of being unable to pick up the Gold Fruit Coin. Giangio also reveals that he is affected by the Petrification Disease. He then moves to St. Frangelico Cathedral, and ultimately, he ends up inside a building nearthe Gold Coin Fruit Tree.
Once players complete the game, they will see Giangio in the cutscene. It is disclosed that his real name is Paracelsus, and he is working for a mysterious organization. Paracelsus was in Krat in order to keep an eye on Carlo. The DLC should cover Paracelsus' motives and his past. It will also shed some light on the organization that he has ties with.

The Mysterious Gold
During their playthrough, if players were thorough in their exploration, they should have seen a Golden Stargazer near the graves on Pilgrim’s Path. When players approach this particular stargazer, they won’t be able to use it. One might think that revisiting the place after finishing the game would change this, but sadly, it stays the same.
In the DLC, this mystery may be unraveled, and fans will find the truth about this particular Stargazer. There is a possibility that one of the new characters in the DLC will know how to fix the Golden Stargazer.

More Areas
Lies of Pis set in the city of Krat, which has been overrun by puppets and monsters. There are manydifferent areas in Krat. Some of them are more appealing than others. However, it seems unlikely that the main game has covered every single one of them. This is where the DLC comes in.
It will add new areas of Krat that were not part of the main game. There is a good chance that it will have an area near the port. In the Director’s Letter, a couple of new sketches were revealed that showcase two new areas in the DLC. In one of them, P can be seen on a ship. The other picture looked like the inside of a factory. Depending on how big the developers want the content to be, there might be many new locations to explore.
3Dorothy
Debut Of A New Character
Dorothy’s name was mentioned inLies of P, leading many fans to assume that she will play a crucial role in the DLC and/or the sequel. Dorothy is one of the main characters inThe Wizard of Oz. Neowiz has already demonstrated how they can add a dark twist to a fairytale, so the expectations are high.
After completing the game, a cutscene starts to play in which Paracelsus can be heard talking to a woman. He mentions bringing back a girl and calls her Dorothy. Subsequently, a woman with red heels and a red dress can be seen. This female is very likely Dorothy, and, from the looks of it, she is in Krat. So, she will meet with P at one point or another. It is possible that the DLC won’t cover Dorothy’s entire story, and she may feature again in the sequel.

Lies of Pgives players access to a plethora of weapons, many of which can be combined to produce something much more devastating. This mechanic has been a huge hit with the players, and it won’t be surprising if other titles do something similar to it.
The DLC for the game will definitely have new weapons and costumes, allowing players to customize P’s appearance further. There willalso be new bosses, which will pose a new challenge to the players.

The DLC forLies of Pwill not only finish Carlo’s story, but it will also set up the sequel. The first game is the retelling ofThe Adventures of Pinocchioby Carlo Collodi. The developers did a commendable job with their adaptation.
However, it seems unlikely that they will extend the story unnecessarily, especially when there are many other fairytales that can be turned into soulslike games. For now, it seemsThe Wizard of Ozis next on the list, and it will see the protagonist being changed as well. But before the sequel is released,Carlo’s story needs to beneatly wrapped up.
