As reported byDeadline, Nyong’o looks to star inA Quiet Place: Day Onein a currently undisclosed role. Not much information about the project’s narrative layout has surfaced, as Paramount looks to be keeping details tightly under wraps. The Academy Award-winning actress is no complete stranger to the horror genre, having starred indirector Jordan Peele’sUs. Nyong’o has yet to comment on the potential casting as she prepares for the theatrical release of Marvel Studios' newestBlack Pantherinstallment.

WhileA Quiet Place: Day Onetakes place before the events of the original two films, Krasinski is developinga thirdQuiet Placefilmthat will continue with the progression of the original story. The highly-anticipated film looks to hit theaters in 2025, with casting decisions remaining unknown. Krasinski starred alongside Emily Blunt, Millicent Simmonds, and Noah Jupe in the original film. Fans will remember that Krasinski’s character tragically passed inA Quiet Place, but there is a slight possibility that he and Blunt could reprise their roles alongside Nyong’o in the upcoming prequel spinoff.

Sarnoski will direct the upcoming Paramount film off his successful outing with 2021’sPig, which starred Nicolas Cage.
