Marvel’s Avengersfans may still be waiting on the next roadmap, but in the meantime, Crystal Dynamics has been adding a plethora of skins to the game. The latestMarvel’s Avengersoutfit is for Spider-Man, and it comes straight from the MCU.
The latestMarvel’s Avengerscostume available for purchase featured prominently inAvengers: Infinity War, and gamers can now don the Iron Spider costume. Teased at the end ofSpider-Man: Homecomingwhen Tony Stark offers Peter Parker a chance to join The Avengers, the suit goes on to feature inAvengers: Infinity WarandAvengers: Endgame. It makes a brief appearance inSpider-Man: Far From Homebefore being used once again inSpider-Man: No Way Home’s now iconic bridge sequence.

With the outfit being used in a majority of Spider-Man’sMCUappearances, it makes for a worthy inclusion that many fans will likely want to swing around in. The costume will cost the same price as the otherMCUoutfits in the game, and it boasts the exact same design as it does in theMCU. Alongside the clearly armored material, fans will see the large blue spider, glowing eyes, and gold accents. Unfortunately, players will not be able touse the Iron Spider legslike they can inMarvel’s Spider-Man, as costumes in the Crystal Dynamics title are purely cosmetic and offer no in-game abilities or advantages of any kind.
Marvel’s Avengershas been a roll lately when it comes toMCUsuits- so much so that same fans have asked for Crystal Dynamics to ease up on this type of addition in favor of more comic-inspired cosmetics. Regardless, fans have seenAvengers: Age of Ultron’s Black Widow suit,Iron Man 3’s armor for Tony Stark, Thor’s look fromThor: Ragnarok, and more in recent weeks. Spider-Man has also gotten a lot of love, with four of hisMCUlooks now available to be worn in-game.
While players can now use the Stark Suit, Upgraded Suit, Stealth Suit, and Iron Spider Suit inMarvel’s Avengers, there is still potential for moreMCUSpidey outfits to be introduced. Spidey’s Homemade suit fromSpider-Man: Homecomingcould be a solid addition, andSpider-Man: No Way Homeintroduced the Black and Gold Suit and Integrated Suit to the mix.No Way Home’s Final Suitcould also be a potential addition, though based on how many are currently in the game, Crystal Dynamics has already delivered when it comes to the hero’sMCUsuits.
As mentioned in the announcement post, this suit will only be seen in the PlayStation marketplace sinceMarvel’s Avengers’ Spider-Man remains PlayStation exclusive. While many fans want to see some new playable content instead of cosmetics, they will need to remain patient for the time being.
Marvel’s Avengersis available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
