InMinecraft, players will need a lot of great tools to help them get to the End. And themost powerful tools that a player can build are made from Netherite. But this ore is incredibly elusive, and players will need some strategies for finding it for themselves.
How is Netherite Made?
In order to make Netherite ingots in the first place, players will need to delve intotheMinecraftNetherfor ancient debris. This hard-to-find material looks like a lighter, more tan version of Netherrack, and it has a circular pattern on the top of it in alternating dark and light circles. Ancient debris will spawn around level 15 and lower.

There are several methods that players can use to ensure that they get as much ancient debris as possible.
Using TNT to Mine the Netherrack
The Netherrack, or the redish blocks that make up the majority ofthe Nether, can be mined easily and quickly with TNT. Players should dig a long, straight cave into the Netherrack, then place TNT every other block. The TNT will explode large swaths of Netherrack out of the way, giving players access to large portions of possible ancient debris locations. TNT is made with 5 gunpower and 4 sand and is triggered with flint and steel.
Using a Diamond Pickaxe to Farm for Netherite
A Diamond pickaxe with Efficiency II will mine Netherrack in a single hit, making it easy to plow through massive sections of the Nether looking for ancient debris. This method, especially if coupled with the TNT method, will blow up massive portions of the Netherrack, hopefully exposing several sections of the much-neededMinecraftmaterial from the Netherancient debris for players to mine and take.
Once players have some ancient debris in their inventory, it’s time for smelting.
How to Make Netherite from Ancient Debris
Once ancient debris is mined,Minecraftplayers will have to smelt it into Netherite Scrap. The scrap only currently has one use in-game: to be smelted into Netherite Ingots. So players will not only have to smelt the debris into scrap but also a second time to mix gold ingots and the Netherite scrap into Netherite ingots. Players can use either a regular furnace or a blast furnace in order to create the scrap and the ingots.
What to Make from Netherite Ingots
There are two main things players will want to make from their Netherite Ingots: tools and lodestones. Players can upgrade diamond armor, weapons, and tools to make them even stronger and also lava-proof. Lodestones are used to help navigate the Nether where compasses do not usually work.
