With the introduction of Quirks in society, he was granted an incredibly powerful ability called All For One. With this Quirk, he gained the power to steal and stockpile all other Quirks. At the same time, he could also distribute the stolen Quirks at will, making him one of the strongest figures alive during this time. With age,All For One ended up getting weaker, especially during the era of All Might. His injuries led to him growing significantly weaker and, thus, he came up with strategies to counter this. In the recent chapters ofMy Hero Academia, All For One temporarily managed to return to his prime state.
How All For One Returned To His Prime
All For One managed to return to his prime duringhis fight against Endeavor and Hawks. While the two initially struggled to keep up with him, Endeavor was able to use the very pinnacle of his powers to fight the threat that All For One posed. Having grown stronger and finally understanding the true meaning of being a Hero, Endeavor was able to deliver a very powerful Prominence Burn to All For One and burn him to a crisp. While he was seemingly dead, All For One ended up revealing the trick card he had up his sleeve. Shortly after his escape from Tartarus, he was met with a new mask and a pre-recorded message from Dr. Kyudai Garaki.
According to the doctor, he was able to study the Quirk Erasing Drug that the Shie Hassaikai used. While the previous version of the drug was able to destroy all Quirks, he was able to make it so that the original power of the Quirk could be utilized. As fans know, this drug was based onEri’s Quirk which allows her to reverse thingsto a former state.

According to the doctor, this drug could only be used once by All For One, and, once used, it would help him achieve his true dreams. By making use of this power during his fight against Endeavor and Hawks, All For One was able to return to his prime body by reverting it. He was seen emerging fully revitalized and completely naked. He swiftly made his way down to a nearby Hero and managed to steal his Quirk along with his cape to cover his body up. Expectedly, his body felt much lighter and faster compared to how it was before.

How Strong Is Prime All For One?
It goes without saying that PrimeAll For One is much strongerthan the version of him that All Might and Endeavor fought. In his prime, he is likely at his physical peak, meaning his strength, speed and all other attributes are on a whole different level. It is also possible that his usage of his Quirk has improved tremendously as well. This is possible due to his body allowing him to use more power and potentially use his Quirk even better.
In his prime, All For One is most certainly much stronger than the likes of Endeavor and even All Might that he once fought in Kamino. In his injured body, he could only store a limited number of Quirks. Furthermore, his body also limited the number of quirks he could use in succession when he was injured. Now that he is in his prime, all those limiters have been removed and, as expected, he is now a menace for anyone to deal with.
Can Anyone Defeat Prime All For One?
Very few people inMy Hero Academiaare capable of taking down prime All For One.Endeavor, strong as he is, is certainly not up to the task. While he was able to stop All For One in his previous state, he lacks the power to take him down in his prime state, judging by what he has shown so far. The only person capable of taking down All For One in his prime would be prime All Might himself. Sadly, All Might has lost his powers and cannot fight All For One like he did in the past. The only other candidate strong enough to defeat All For One would be none other than Izuku Midoriya. Izuku has the power of One For All and, if utilized at its maximum, it can certainly allow him to overwhelm the monster that is prime All For One.
However, it seems unlikely for the two to fight right now. By the looks of it, All For One is about to wreak havoc on the Hero Society, and defeating him would take the joint effort of multiple heroes. Undoubtedly, he is a menace who has now returned to his prime form. Currently, he is potentially an evenbigger threat than Shigaraki Tomura. While defeating him would certainly not be easy, by joining forces, the Heroes might just be able to face off against the greatest terror in the history of Villains.
