U.A. High School is thebest hero school in Japanhaving produced some of society’s best heroes, including the irrepressible All Might, along with the current number one pro hero, Endeavour and top hero Best Jeanist.
Due to the anime’s focus on Class 1-A, they are considered some of the most powerful students in the entire school. But, there are some absolute powerhouses in U.A. that aren’t as talked about. These include students from Class 1-B and some of the top heroes from the school’s third year.
12Itsuka Kendo
The Class Mother Of 1-B
Itsuka Kendo is the 5th seat in Class 1-B and is a character that acts as a rallying point for the entire class as its representative. She keeps people in check, especially Neito Monoma, who tends to get pretty intense with Class 1-A.
Her quirk, Big Fist, allows her to enlarge her hands to ridiculous proportions. She can use these to carry people, hang on to places, or crush items. On top of that, she is also pretty analytical, as shown in her understanding of Mustard’s quirk.
11Tetsutetsu Tetsutetsu
A Literal Man Of Steel
Besides having a pretty funny name, Tetsutetsu Tetsutetsu is one of the stronger characters from Class 1-B. Hisongoing rivalrywith Class 1-A’s Kirishima is always a lot of fun to watch.
His quirk enables him to harden his body and turn it into steel. This obviously means he is blessed with insane strength, but he pairs this with smart battle awareness, which makes him more than just the strong guy.
10Neito Monoma
The Sarcastic Tormentor Of Class 1-A Is No Slouch
Neito Monoma is an interesting character who shows a different face depending on who he is dealing with. With Class 1-A he is mocking, and even a little nasty, while he is a nice and rational class mate towards Class 1-B. His animosity towards Class 1-A comes from his envy towards all the attention they get.
His ability, called Copy, is one that lets him take on the powers of a person he touches. This makes him pretty unpredictable and quite powerful. Unfortunately, there are some quirks he calls ‘blanks’ that he cannot copy, like One For All.
9Nirengeki Shoda
A Versatile Support Character
Nirengeki Shoda is one of the best-supporting characters from Class 1-B. He gets along well with his classmates and his ability to work adequately in a team makes him a great ally to have.
His quirk is called Second Impact and allows him to hit an object and inflict it with a second hit from a remote location. The follow-up hit is several times more powerful than the first hit. His quirk has a lot of potential, but as he isn’t so physically strong, it is limited.
8Jurota Shishida
His Keen Beast Sense Makes Him A Powerful Foe
Jurota Shishida’squirk is called ‘Beast,’ and while it looks very simple, it is anything but. When in operation, Shishida turns into a large beast, but he not only has enhanced strength, but also has his senses of smell and hearing exponentially increased.
Not only that, Shishida can alter his size at will, meaning he is able to slip through places he would normally be unable to and this makes him a very handy person to have in battle.
7Manga Fukidashi
He Makes Words Come To Life
One of themore fascinating charactersin the entireMy Hero Academiashow is Manga Fukidashi from Class 1-B. His name says a lot about his personality, as he loves manga.
Not only that, but his powers revolve around manga, as he can make sounds, and onomatopoeia, and make them come to life. It’s a weird skill and causes him to have a sore throat if used too much.
6Ibara Shiozaki
Her Vines Make Her The Most Versatile Fighter
Of all the members of Class 1-B, there is none more serene than Ibara Shiozaki. The maiden-looking pro-hero student is on the quieter side, but this belies an insanely strong ability.
Her quirk is called vines, and it basically allows her to use vines that grow out of her head as a weapon. It can work as a tool of attack and defense and is really powerful. She can get a little vindictive, as shown in her harsh treatment of Class 1-A.
5Setsuna Tokage
Incredible Control
Setsuna Tokage is a student that one has to pay attention to, considering that she is one of the few students at U.A. who was enrolled through recommendation.
Her ability, Lizard Tail Splitter, is incredible, and like the lizard’s tail, which can be cut off and still function, she can separate her body parts into up to 50 places and keep control of each and every single one of them.
4Hitoshi Shinso
His Ability To Adapt His Quirk For The Hero Program Was Impressive
Shinso was a character who started life in U.A. as a member of the General studies class and envied the heroes who got to do the work he wanted. His quirk, which allows him to command his victims, has led to a lot of rejection which made him bitter towards heroes.
He eventually transferred to the hero course, and his abilities, which can really throw enemies into chaos, have been an asset. It also helps that he is being trained byEraser Head,who is the perfect master for him.
3Tamaki Amajiki
The Reluctant Foodie
In terms of strength and ability, there are few students that even come close to Tamaki. His social awkwardness and reluctance to mingle might fool some intothinking he is weak, but he is anything but.
His quirk allows him to manifest the traits of anything he has eaten. Tamaki has mastered this skill to a proficient degree, allowing him to manifest multiple abilities at once and unleash them on foes.
