My Hero Academiais one of the most popular anime series in the world right now, and so it’s no surprise that it’s starting to get regular video game adaptations. A follow-up to 2018’sMy Hero One’s Justiceis on the way soon, aptly titledMy Hero One’s Justice 2, and it will be adding new characters to the roster along with some new features for fans of the franchise to sink their teeth into.
My Hero One’s Justice 2is adapting season 4 of the anime, and so it understandably features new characters that have just recently been introduced to the show. This includes Kendo Rappa, a member of the Eight Bullets who serves the Shie Hassaikai Yakuza organization. Kendo Rappa is known for his incredible strength and hard-hitting punches, and players will be able to utilize those abilities to their full extent inMy Hero One’s Justice 2.

Not only was Kendo Rappa confirmed for theMy Hero One’s Justice 2roster, but a brand new game mode has also been detailed. As revealed in the latest issue of Weekly Jump,My Hero One’s Justice 2will have a new mission mode where they are able to create and manage their own hero office. Players are able to earn points by completing missions that can then be spent on various characters. Apparently,My Hero One’s Justice 2will allow players to recruit both heroes and villains for their hero office.
The new mission mode inMy Hero One’s Justice 2should give the new game a lot more replay value than the original.My Hero One’s Justicewas praised at the time of its release for its exciting action, but earned some criticism for a lack of game modes and variety. Whether or not the mission mode is actually fun remains to be seen, but it will still giveMy Hero Academiafans a little bit more to do nevertheless.
AsMy Hero Academiacontinues to grow in popularity, one has to imagine that there will be many more video game adaptations in its future. Right now,My Hero Academiavideo games have been relegated to fighting game experiences, but as we’ve seen with the recently releasedDragon Ball Z: Kakarot, anime series can translate well to other genres, too. Whether or not Bandai Namco expands itsMy Hero Academiavideo gamesinto other genres remains to be seen, but it seems like the IP would lend itself well to an action-RPG or something along those lines.
My Hero One’s Justice 2launches on March 13 for PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One.
