Reddit user oops_deepdived has been sharing their creations on theAnimal Crossingsubreddit, and it’s been a hit among the community. This fan has recreated models of twofan-favorite villagers, Goldie and Marshal, and placed each of them on a Nintendo DS Lite shell with decorations to match their look and personality. Goldie is quite similar to a Golden Retriever and wears autumnal-colored clothing, so her garden has many pebbles and orange trees. Marshal is a smug squirrel villager that wears stronger colors, so his garden is darker with purple and red flowers.

When they first shared their Goldie scenario, some members of the subreddit were alarmed and thought that oops_deepdived had destroyed a perfectly good DS Lite in order to create their thematic garden, so in their second post they made it clear that no consoles were harmed in the making of their art and that it was just a console shell. SometimesAnimal Crossingplayers enjoy bringing real-life elements into the game, and this fan decided to do the exact opposite and takeAnimal Crossingelements and bring them into the real world.

The two posts were so well received by the community that some fans even started asking for these sorts of creations, but with Pokemon instead ofAnimal Crossingvillagers. At the moment, it’s uncertain what the future holds for theAnimal Crossingfranchise, but until there’s a new entry to this series, players will undoubtedly continue to stick withAnimal Crossing: New Horizonsto get as much as they can out of the game as they let their creativity run wild.
