EA Sports is gearing up for the launch of its newest soccer game,EA Sports FC 24, with a plethora of Xbox Game Pass perks set to come with it. EA officially revealed the newest game in the franchise formerly under theFIFAbranding earlier this week with a trailer showing off major shifts to the gameplay. The trailer touted EA’s new “HypermotionV” game system and features like unique “Play Styles” among otherimprovements to the soccer franchise’s newest installment. Now, EA has revealed special rewards for the newest game on Xbox.
EA Sports FC 24will mark a major departure for the franchise as the first soccer game from EA Sports not to bear the branding of FIFA, the international soccer organization. The high-profile split made waves throughout the gaming community last year with theFIFAfranchise standing as one of the most popular sports games in the world. EA would later confirm the franchise’s return with a new name and identity, confirming the series now calledEA Sports FCwould continue in 2023. Now, Game Pass is set to feature a major collaboration withEA Sports FC 24.

Alongside the Game Pass bonuses, pre-orders ofEA Sports FC 24will provide plenty of in-game content as well for players looking to dive into the new soccer game. Players of EA’sbeloved “Ultimate Team” game modewill receive multiple Loan players within the mode, featuring the game’s cover star and ambassador players. Pre-orders will also grant single-player benefits as well, including additional Personality points in Player Career and a 5-star coach available in Manager Career.
EA Sports FC’s launch marks the end of an era for the developer’s long-standing partnership with the world-leading FIFA. The series had boasted the FIFA branding for nearly thirty years since the original debut ofFIFA International Soccerin December 1993 on the Sega Genesis. The change comes as EA Sports has recently made efforts to revive several of its dormant franchises, withEA Sports PGA Tourlaunching in MarchandUFCconfirmed to be returning.EA Sports FCwill look to see similar success to the franchise’s past as it moves forward with a new name.
EA Sports FC 24will release on September 29 for PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
