Persona 5has recently revealed its partnership with Avail, a Japanese clothing brand, to create a collection of apparel with designs featuring the game’s Phantom Thieves. For fans who are looking to have some of theirfavoritePersona 5characterson their outfits, the new collection is something they should probably check out.
ThePersonafranchise is once again one of the most talked about video game series in recent gaming events. Even with trailers and announcements being revealed prematurely, the fan base has had a lot of news to digest. This includes thereveal ofPersona 3 Reload, an official remake of the franchise’s PlayStation 2 title, andPersona 5 Tactica, a new strategy RPG spin-off title based on thePersona 5series. Even though the reveals were done by accident, the fan base is likely excited about these announcements and will probably be a lot more receptive to news about official merchandise being launched in the coming months.

On Twitter, Japanese clothing brand Avail has just revealed that it is producing a collection ofPersona 5merchandise consisting mostly of T-shirts, bath towels, and a cute hooded shirt based on the game’s mascot, Morgana. According to the post, these items will be available in the brand’s physical stores and online shop by May 15, 2025. A preview of the collection’s designs was also included in the social media post. The T-shirts are mostly in black with basic designs featuring the original Phantom Thieves, the main character Joker, or the Shujin Academy emblem, while bath towels have more elaborate designs with the game’s well-known red-and-black color scheme.
For fans of thePersona 5mascot Morgana, the hooded shirt seems like a cute way to show off their love for the character. Morgana’s face, scarf, and tail are key features of the top, standing out in the hoodie’s dark cloth. However, there is no indication on Avail’s website that these products can be bought by fans located outside of Japan. Those who are looking to purchase these items may have to find a proxy buyer or wait for the official global Atlus store to add them to their inventory.
Despite not knowing if they will be able to purchase theseofficialPersona 5products, the game’s community is likely happy that Atlus continues to partner with other brands to produce merchandise based on the JRPG. Hopefully the company will expand the sales of thesePersona 5items, and other upcoming merchandise, so that fans around the world will also be able to enjoy them.
