After much rumor and hearsay, a new Nintendo Direct will be airing tomorrow in regions all over the globe, but the United Kingdom will not be one of them.Nintendohas confirmed that it will not be streaming its next big news presentation there out of respect for Queen Elizabeth II, whose passing last week marked the end of the longest reign in British history.People throughout England and around the world have been mourning the Queen’s passing after over 70 years as a major fixture of global politics. Many in the video game industry have joined in on paying tribute to Elizabeth in the past week,includingGrand Theft Autodeveloper Rockstar Games, who called her “a global leader whose grace and influence spanned so many generations.”RELATED:Golden Wii Meant For Queen Elizabeth II Now Up for AuctionDespiterumors of the next Nintendo Direct being delayed over the Queen’s death, the presentation is still slated to premiere tomorrow, September 13, at 7:00 AM PST/10:00 AM EST. However, Nintendo UK announced that, as “a mark of respect during this period of national mourning,” it will not air the live version, saying instead that it will upload an on-demand video of the Direct on its YouTube channel at 16:00 UK time, one hour after the livestream.

Of course, theSeptember 13 Directwill still be streamed on Nintendo channels for other regions, so UK viewers will still have the option to watch it live. Although it’s fairly common for there to be some slight differences between the Directs depending on region, it’s rare for that to be the case between the UK and the US. As such, British viewers watching live shouldn’t worry about missing out on any exclusive announcements.

It’s not yet known officially which games will be shown off at tomorrow’s Direct, but some intriguing possibilities have been teased. According to the rumor mill, gamers can look forward to announcements like Switch ports for the award-winning co-op platformerIt Takes TwoandThe Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim’sAnniversary Edition.

The next Direct also looks like it will have some big announcements for fans ofThe Legend of Zelda, with industry insiders describing it as a “Zeldablowout.” Not only will fans allegedly see Switch ports forThe Wind WakerandTwilight Princess, but thereveal ofThe Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2’s official nameas well. Whatever turns out to be revealed, tomorrow will be the first general Nintendo Direct since February, and with around 40 minutes’ worth of Switch game announcements slated to happen, it’s certainly going to be a lot.
