At night, the vampire squid activates its light blue bioluminescent material to confuse and escape predators in the water. After observing the creature’s unique glow, Bruddheidvw and fellow players agree that the vampire squid looks much cooler with its bioluminescence.
The vampire squid is one of the most valuable deep sea creatures inAnimal Crossing: New Horizons. During the months of May through August, players may catch a vampire squid between 4 p.m. and 9 a.m. local time in the Northern Hemisphere. In the Southern Hemisphere, the vampire squid appears in the months of November through February. The vampire squid is very elusive in the water, so diving for the creature requires a lot of trial and error.
The vampire squid’s nighttime appearance makes it one of the most extraordinary creatures inAnimal Crossing: New Horizons.
