The Blackbeard Pirates are a heinous pirate crew, known to be villains inOne Piece.This pirate crew is going to be incredibly important in the Final SagaofOne Piece,where their true strength is going to be revealed by Oda. Of course, the Blackbeard Pirates are reliant on Devil Fruits, for the most part, however, quite a lot of their members are incredible users of Haki as well.
These members appear to be much stronger than the other individuals in the crew, and some of them are even worthy of being compared to the strongest to have ever lived.
4Jesus Burgess
Haki Type: Armament, Observation
Jesus Burgess is the First Ship Captain of the Blackbeard Pirates and one of the original members of the crew. He was introduced in the story before the timeskip, and he has advanced his ranking quite a lot since the Blackbeard Pirates established themselves as a proper crew. Burgess is quite strong,thanks to the power of the Riki Riki no Mi.However, he doesn’t just rely on his Devil Fruit ability.
He also has access to Haki, as has been seen previously in the story. He was seen fighting against Sabo in the Corrida Colosseum, during the Dressrosa arc. There, he revealed his incredible usage of Armament Haki. This Haki, when combined with his shockwave ability, made him quite dangerous. However, in the end, his Haki proved to be weaker when compared to that of Sabo. This isn’t a surprise, given that Sabo excels at using his Haki quite a lot, thanks to his training under the strong members of the Revolutionary Army.
3Shiryu
Shiryu is the Former Head Jailer of Impel Down and one of the most powerful individuals in the world of One Piece. He was considered to be on the same level as Magellan, which paints quite a picture about his level of strength. Shiryu escaped from Impel Down thanks to Blackbeard and ended up joining his crew. Currently, he serves the role of the Second Ship Captain of the Blackbeard Pirates and he is certainly a very powerful individual.
Shiryu has the power of the Suke Suke no Mi, which allows him to turn invisible. While this ability is quite deadly, it is not the only one that he has up his sleeve. Shiryu also possesses the ability to utilize Armament Haki. Given that he is primarily a swordsman, him being a strong Haki user is a given. The essence of swordsmanship is Haki itself, and one can assume that Shiryu possesses quite a high grade of Armament Haki. He was even able to injure Garp fatally with his Haki, which suggests that, at the very least, he possesses above-average control over this skill.
2Kuzan
The 10th Ship Captain of the Blackbeard Pirates, Kuzan is the last member of the crew who was recently revealed to be an official underling of Blackbeard. He is a former Admiral of the Marines and that position alone justifies him as the second strongest member of the crew, only behind Blackbeard. He is an incredibly powerful person, having the ability of the Hie Hie no Mi, a Logia type of Devil Fruit that allows him to become ice as well as freely produce, and manipulate it at will.
On top of this, he also possesses tremendous Haki, especially when it comes to Armament and Observation.Kizaru was seen using his Haki in the battle against Garpand it is safe to say that he held his own quite well. His Armament Haki is certainly among the strongest in the world, and he is an individual who possesses tremendous control over this skill, thanks to using battleships as punching bags. He possesses high-grade Armament Haki that can be launched from a distance, and he might even be able to see the future since he evaded Whitebeard’s Haki stab, however, this remains to conjecture at this point.
1Blackbeard
Without a doubt,the strongest Haki user of the Blackbeard Pirates is their Captain, Blackbeardhimself. Given his ambition, it isn’t a surprise for the fans to know that he is the strongest Haki user in the group.
He possesses the ability to utilize both Observation and Armament Haki and these types make him very special. His Observation Haki was good enough to gauge the strength of others and hear the voices of people, even before the timeskip. His Armament Haki is good enough to block a slash that is strong enough to split an entire mountain with ease, which suggests high-grade usage of the skill. Blackbeard’s true power has not been shown in One Piece at all and it is because of that, that a true measurement of his Haki cannot be made just yet. As an Emperor, he should have access to all three types of Haki, even though he has shown just two at the moment. His mastery over every Haki type should be of the highest order. Hopefully, Oda will focus more on him later down the line and showcase what a monstrous Haki user he truly is.
