Sulfuris an elusive crafting component inPalworldthat’s needed to make some of the most important items in the game. These may not seem as plentiful as regular Copper ore veins, but players will encounter Sulfur nodes by the dozen once they know where to look.
In order to advance throughPalworld’searly game and avoidsome common new player pitfalls, you’re going to need to collect a ton of Sulfur regularly. If you’re wondering why you’ve never seen a single up until now, then you’re probably looking at all the wrong places. Here’s where you can find some.
Palworld Sulfur Locations
One of the earliest ways to get Sulfur is to enter and explore the manyunderground dungeonsscattered around the archipelago. Dungeon entrances appear as cave openings that you can randomly spot while exploring. Approach a cave entrance, and you’ll see a button prompt to enter the dungeon as well as a timer. Once the timer counts down to zero, the dungeon closes, and a new one opens up somewhere in the world. Alternatively, visit any of thedry desert biomesto find Sulfur nodes above ground.
you may find Sulfur nodes as you run around inside the caves. They look like regular ore nodes, except they’re yellowish in color compared tothe bright blue of Paldium rocks. Smack them with your Pickaxe until your inventory is full, then haul it all back to your base as quickly as possible. One trick you can do once you unlock an extra base slot is to build a Palbox in front of the dungeon entrance. This lets you fast travel to and from your main base so you can deposit your ores more quickly without wasting any precious dungeon time.
Take note that Sulfur nodes spawn randomly. Some rooms inside a dungeon may have a few nodes, and some might not. Also, there are usually treasure chests scattered around each dungeon, though you may need to spend some Copper or Silver Keys in order to open them, so verify to bring a few if you plan on doing some dungeon diving.
Sulfur is mainly used forcrafting ammunition inPalworld. It is a key ingredient in Gunpowder, and you’re going to need a lot of it if you want to stock your armory up for base defense or future excursions out into the wild. For every dungeon run, it’s recommended to take at least two full inventories' worth of Sulfur ore just so you won’t have to delve more times than necessary. If you’re struggling with weight load, bring a Grappling Gun to bypass the movement restrictions.
