Persona 3 Reloadfeatures a series of enemies that constantly increase in power. From the moment the player begins their journey up and through Tartarus, it is apparent that each new floor is designed to push the party to – and past – its limits. This is never more apparent than when players reachPersona 3 Reload’s special enemy encounters.

While these events take various forms, one of the toughest is known asFormidable Shadows.Steel Gigasis the first of these encounter types, which provide players with the chance to fight an extremely overpowered enemy while exploring an otherwise basic floor. As a Formidable Shadow, Steel Gigas presents a challenge more on par with minibosses likeP3R’s Will O' Wisp Ravenor Disturbing Dice. Luckily, this guide will explain exactly how players can handle this new enemy with relative ease.

How to Beat Steel Gigas in Persona 3 Reload

Formidable Shadows:

Steel Gigas is the first ‘Formidable Shadow’players will encounter inPersona 3 Reload. These special shadows are far more powerful than the traditional shadows encountered in Tartarus. They are easily distinguished by a red, glowing aura that swirls around the body of a shadow as it slides along the floor of the labyrinth.

As a Formidable Shadow, Steel Gigas has a much larger health pool, and also does significantly more damage. Remember, however, that they are essentially optional bosses. To engage one in combat, the player must strike the shadow, the same as any other.
