PlayStation VR2 PC Adapter Release Date and Price
Setting up the PlayStation VR2 on a PC is straightforward. Users need to connect the VR headset to their PC with the PS VR2 PC adapter and a DisplayPort 1.4 cable, then download the PlayStation VR2 App and SteamVR App from Steam. This setup allows for customizing settings and purchasing or acquiringfree VR games for playing via SteamVR. However, some features designed specifically for PS5 will not be available on PC. These include HDR, headset feedback, eye tracking, adaptive triggers, and advanced haptic feedback beyond basic rumble.
Despite these limitations, other high-fidelity features like 4K visuals, a 110-degree field of view, finger touch detection, see-through view, foveated rendering (without eye tracking), and 3D Audio will be supported.
