The impressive collage of Gen 3 Pokemon comes from Reddit user PaulDrawsArt, who posted their colorful creation to one of the site’sPokemonpages. The grand drawing begins at the bottom with purple and pink-colored Pokemon like Dustox and Sableye before moving up to blue. Arguably the largest section, it is occupied by the likes of Mudkip and Metagross, with Wailmer and Wailord taking up plenty of real estate. Moving up to the green/yellow section are where Pokemon like Sceptile andfan-favorite Flygonare found, and the top orange/red section contains Legendaries Groudon, Deoxys, Rayquaza, and Kyogre.

Intricately arranged and executed, the artwork has clearly been popular among otherPokemonfans, with the post amassing nearly 300 upvotes within just hours of posting. Fans have universally lauded the work as well, with things like “this is soo pleasing to look at” occupying the comments section. The art piece is reminiscent of anotherPokemonfan’s work, whocreated an entirePokemoncolor wheel. Featuring all Pokemon up to Gen 5, that fan art organizes each and every Pokemon into a color-coordinated circle.

While certainly an impressive piece of art, the colorful Gen 3 Pokemon drawing isn’t the first collage from the artist, as they have also crafteda painting featuring every Pokemon from Gen 2. Organized in a similar color-coordinated spectrum, the art piece features all 100 second-gen Pokemon, with the final forms of its starters - Typhlosion, Feraligatr, and Meganium - at the center of the image. The artist puts the generation’s Legendaries at the top of the frame, echoing the composition of the Gen 3 work above.

With the first few generations under their belt, it should be interesting to see if and when the artist posts collages of the remaining generations ofPokemon.
