One such fan art comes fromPokemonfan grapemunxher, who made a Disney-inspired Eevee. They shared their creation in thePokemonsubreddit, which showed Eevee drawn in a different art style that’s reminiscent of classic Disney movies, likeBambiandWinnie the Pooh. There’s also a Leaf Stone right next to the Pokemon, which would mean that it’s ready to evolve into aLeafeon.
In the comments, manyPokemonfans praised grapemunxher’s work, with one saying that the Disney-fied Eevee drawing made their day. Another user said that their drawing reminded them of Don Bluth’s work, who’s known for classic animated films likeAn American TailandThe Land Before Time. Meanwhile, some also took a look at grapemunxher’s other artworks, and commended their versatile drawing style as they reimagined other video game characters like Freddy and Bonnie fromFive Nights at Freddy’s.
Pokemonand Disney have many memorable characters, so it’s no surprise that fans of both franchises might use them as references for their reimagined characters. In the past, one artistdrew a number of Pokemon in the style ofLilo and Stitch, while another turned Mulan into a Pokemon trainer. Many fans have also compared some Pokemon to Disney characters, like Quaxly with Donald Duck.
Pokemonis currently at Generation 9, which showcases a new set of creatures inPokemon Scarlet and Violet. The games' upcoming DLCThe Teal Maskrecently introduced anew regional fake named Poltchageist, which is a Polteageist that looks like a haunted matcha caddy. As for a new Eeveelution in this generation,Pokemonfans might not get one apart from its Tera form. Its last evolution, Sylveon, was introduced way back in Generation 6, so it might take a while for the next one to be introduced. Unless, of course,PokemonScarlet and Violetdrop a surprise in the future.
