With all of this merchandise, manyPokemonfans have been able to use the collectibles to make their own fan videos and animations. A recent fan shared a live-action video they made on Reddit that’s titled “The world ofPokemonfeaturing our vintage Tomy figures.” As the title suggests, the video uses plenty of Takara TomyPokemonaction figures as stand-ins for the Pokemon.

The live-action video was made by Reddit user Jake44434 and posted in thePokemonsubreddit a couple of days ago. The video is a little over a minute, but it makes good use of that time to set itself up as an opening in a documentary style about exploringthe world ofPokemon. The video is narrated by a character in the video named “Professor Owen,” not to be confused with the character Professor Rowan from the franchise. The video has a light-hearted and comical tone to it as it shows off various Pokemon figures with some humor here and there.

The video features plenty of different Pokemon from the different regions in the video games. Some of the first figures shown in the video includethe Pokemon Feraligatr, Wooper, Tauros, Empoleon, Torterra, Rhyhorn, and many others. There are figures in the background thatPokemonfans will be able to see, such as an Ekans, Totodile, Pidgeotto, and others. Viewers can even see figures of popular legendary Pokemon like Entei, Raikou, and Suicune, among several others fans will undoubtedly recognize.

The video uses a variety of real-life locations and special effects forthePokemonabilities, attacks, and movements used with the figures. Jake44434 even uses the sound effects the Pokemon have in the video games. The general reception to the video was largely positive as commenters enjoyed it. Plenty of them enjoyed seeing some of their favoritePokemonTomy figures.

Jake44434 also added that the video in the post is actually a small part of a larger video that’s part of aPokemonfan video series called Lego Pokemon on the YouTube channel bespingaurdstudios. Some longtime fans of the series even showed up in the Reddit post’s comment section to congratulate the user on the latest video.
