Pokemon GO’s Pokemon GO Fest is currently underway for all players globally who’ve bought a virtual ticket for the event. For players in the United States of America, this ticket costs $14.99 and can be purchased from the shop menu in-game.
During this event inPokemon GO, there are certain special event-exclusive items, costumed Pokemon, and newly released shiny Pokemon to be caught. One of these event-exclusive items is confetti.

Confetti is a souvenir item that can be obtained via players bonding enough with their Pokemon. Like other souvenirs, it can be given to players by their partner Pokemon after enough steps if they’ve reached the level ofUltra Buddy.
After getting confetti during thePokemon GOFest, players will be able to find it among their other souvenirs in their souvenir list. From here, some players may be curious about if anything can be done with it from this point.
However, confetti can’t really be used for any special purpose. Like all other souvenirs given by a player’sbuddy Pokemon, it only really exists as a special collectible. The only thing really separating the confetti from all other souvenirs is in how the confetti can only be collected so far during the currentPokemon GOFest. Because of this, it can help represent the memory ofPokemon GO’s first stay-at-homePokemon GOFest and forever exist as a trophy awarding the player’s participation.
Some players may be disappointed by the lack of use for the confetti. However, getting it is completely optional and they don’t need to put the effort into getting their Pokemon’s buddy level up if they don’t want this collectible.
There are many methods to raise a player’s buddyPokemon’s buddy levelin order to get the confetti. Some of these methods include feeding their buddy Pokemon berries, playing with them, and walking around to accumulate steps with them. As they level up, buddy Pokemon can give players other items such as presents for friends, inventory items, and other types of souvenirs.
Players will have until July 26th in their local time to participate in the event. If players do buy a ticket, they are recommended to spend a lot of time in-game so they get the absolute most out of their purchase.
