Summary
Following the end of a limited-time Paradox Tera Raid,Pokemon Scarlet and Violetrevealed that the next Seven-Star Tera Raid battle will pit trainers against Swampert the Unrivaled. The upcoming fight against Swampert will testPokemon Scarlet and Violetplayers, as this boss Pokemon has a versatile move pool of different types.
Known as the Mud Fish Pokemon, Swampert is a Water and Ground Pokemon that debuted inPokemon Ruby and Sapphire. It is the final form of Mudkip, the Water-type starter of the Hoenn Region. Swampert is depicted as a blue Pokemon that can swim on all fours and deal extreme damage to enemies in different ways. Statistically, Swampert is among the more balanced Pokemon in physical and special attack coverage. While it is a slower critter with 60 base speed, Swampert’s attack and HP stats are its highest, with its special attack and defenses not far behind. As ofThe Indigo DiskDLC,Pokemon Scarlet and Violetplayers can catch a Mudkipin the Terarium and evolve it into Marshtomp and Swampert.

With theParadox Tera raids against Sandy Shocks and Iron Thornsconcluded,Pokemon Scarlet and Violetplayers will soon have a new foe to face. According to Serebii.net, the Seven-Star Tera Raid battle against Swampert the Unrivaled begins on Thursday, May 30, at 8:00 PM Eastern, and ends on Sunday, June 2, at 7:59 PM Eastern.Pokemontrainers who miss out on this raid will have another shot the following weekend, from June 6 to June 9 at the same start and end times. Swampert the Unrivaled will have the Poison type as its Tera type and grant the Mightiest Mark to any Pokemon that can defeat it.
Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Confirm June 2024 Seven-Star Tera Raid
As with other Seven-Star Tera Raid bosses, Swampert the Unrivaled will have its Hidden Ability called Damp. This eliminates the use of Self-Destruct and similar moves. However, Self-Destruct moves are generally frowned upon inPokemon Scarlet and Violet, so the ability is not as big a factor as Swampert’s move versatility. The Mud Fish Pokemon can use moves like Poison Jab, Liquidation, Surf, Earthquake, and Ice Beam to lay waste to its enemies.Pokemon such as Orthworm, Mew, Slowbro, or Slowking may prove crucial in the fight against Swampert the Unrivaled, as each have moves or abilities that can lock down some of the boss Pokemon’s attacks.
ThoughPokemon Scarlet and Violethavea handful of Seven-Star Tera raid candidates left, the battle against Swampert crosses one of the remaining Pokemon off the list. What moves Swampert will use in the fight ahead remains to be seen.
