Additionally, the Assassin Crest offers two passive effects; Legendary Rogue and Creep Slayer. Both of these effects help the player tackle Minions, Enemy Heroes and Monsters more efficiently by providing generous increases to the player’s base damage.

In addition to granting a +35 Physical Power boost, +200 Health boost, and +35 boost to Physical Power, Citadel offers players the Fortification and Intimidation passive effects. Fortification gives the player an additional 10 Physical Armor for every Enemy Hero that’s nearby, while Intimidation decreases nearby Enemy Heroes' own Physical Armor by a whopping 20%. With all of these effects combined, it’s not hard to see why Citadel is such an effective item for tanky builds to use.

Oblivion Crown is a must-use for any players who rely heavily on magic; the item grants a +120 Magic Power increase as a base stat boost, in addition to boasting the passive effect Annihilate. Annihilate gives a Magical Power boost of +35%, making magic builds using Oblivion Crown almost unstoppable.

Few passive items inPredecessorare as versatile or effective in a team setting as Requiem. The item grants generous attribute bonuses across the board; players using it receive a +20 Magical Power boost, +200 Health, +125 Base Mana Regen, and +10 Heal & Shield Power.

Additionally, Requiem has not one but two passive effects.Elegy grants the playera stack of Elegy whenever a Hero dies, all the way up to a maximum of 20 stacks. Its second passive effect, Remembrance, allows all nearby Allies 1 physical power and an additional 0.5% lifesteal for every stack of Elegy possessed.

6Stonewall

One ofPredecessor’sTier 3 items and a fantastic choice for tank-style builds to use, Stonewall grants generous bonuses to physical defense stats, in addition to its Passive Effects, Shockwave and Bulwark.

Stonewall affords players a +150 boost to their Health stat, +150 Base Health Regen, and +70 Physical Armor. Additionally, the Shockwave passive effect sends out a shockwave that stuns all nearby enemies whenever players take damage that results in their health dropping below 40%. Bulwark results in the player taking 10% less damage from any Physical Abilities used on them.

An excellent choice for players using builds heavily reliant on magic or mana in general, Fire Blossom also grants generous boosts to physical defense and health stats, making it well-rounded and versatile.

Fire Blossom gives players +225 Health, +40 Physical Armor, and +200 Mana. In addition, Fire Blossom has the passive effect Heatwave, which deals 25 Magic Damage per second to all nearby enemies. This damage is increased by 50% against nearby Immobilized Targets and a whopping 100% against Monsters. Combine this with Fire Blossom’s stat boosts, and it’s an incredibly useful passive item for many different play styles.

4Frostguard

Ever getoverwhelmed in the heat of battlewhile playingPredecessor? Frostguard is the perfect item to help with this. A Tier 3 item, Frostguard grants players +200 Health, +50 Physical Armor, +250 Mana, and +15 Ability Haste.

On top of this, Frostguard’s passive effect Chilling Presence slows all nearby enemies down by 10% and applies a stack of Stifle to them every 0.5 seconds. Frostguard’s second passive effect, Stifle, reduces the attack speed of any source that hits the player by 3% for three seconds, up to a potential five times.

3Horned Plate

Despite only being a Tier 2 item, Horned Plate is far more effective and deadly than initially meets the eye. Its stat boost isn’t anything to write home about - it grants a simple +25 to Physical Armor - but the item’s passive effect, Blighted Skin, is what makes it truly worth using.

Blighted Skin reduces the Healing of anything that attacks the player by a massive 20% for three seconds, should the attack actually manage to hit the player. Impeding enemies' healing inPredecessoris a highly effective way of crippling them, so Horned Plate is definitely an item worth considering using.

2Timewarp

Offering stat boosts to Magical Power (+25), Physical Armor (+15), Base Mana Regen (+150), and Ability Haste (+15), Timewarp is a highly versatile passive item that players using just about any build can use to increase their base stats and ability output across the board.

On top of all of this, Timewarp also has two powerful passive effects; Ferrumancer and Chime. Ferrumancer increases the player’s base magical power and physical armor by five for five seconds, stacking up to a maximum of five times. Chime reduces the cooldown period of all basic abilities when a basic ability is cast by 15% (with maximum cooldown reduction capped at one second).

1Truesilver Bracelet

Truesilver Bracelet is a fantastic passive item for anyone with a play style reliant on aggressive spell casting in particular. The item grants +25 Magical Power, +250 Health, +25 Magical Armor, and +10 Ability Haste.

In addition to this, Truesilver Bracelet’s passive effect, Reprisal, gives a massive damage reduction and immunity boost when used. It’s activated when players use their ultimate and grants a 250 shield for five seconds, as well as granting CC immunity for the duration of its effect. On top of this, when the effect expires, the shield explodes to deal magical damage to nearby enemies for 60% of its initial strength.
