Spawn broughtMortal Kombat 11’s first Kombat Pack to an end, and while there has yet to be official world, it is highly expected that developer NetherRealm Studios will reveal another. It seems only like a matter of time, especially when the flood of rumors and leaks related to the potential content. As always, rumors should be taken with a grain of salt, but it’s worth mentioning that the entirety of the firstKombat Pack leakedbefore it was revealed.

This means thatMortal Kombat 11’s DLC charactersare always up for debate, and it’s entirely possible that these recent rumors contain some truth to them. And if they are to be believed, it seems NetherRealm Studios is going in for the kill yet again.

Mortal Kombat 11 Kombat Pack 2 Rumors

The most recent rumors state that Sheeva, Fujin, Ash Williams, Takeda, Stryker, and RoboCop will be the next characters to join the roster, and each have a little bit of support behind them. Sheeva, Fujin, and Ash Williams, as many will know, have been rumored for quite some time. They appeared on the same aforementioned leak which was pinpoint accurate with the first Kombat Pack, but there’s been a little clarity added. It seemsMK11’s version of Ash Williamsis fromArmy of Darkness, not Evil Dead, which supports the actor’s denial of “Evil Dead’s Ash” being in the game but supports the character nonetheless.

Takeda has the least info currently made available so far, but his name has been dropped quite a bit in various Mortal Kombat 11 rumors. Now, it seems cinematics for the character alongside Stryker have been found in game files. His association with Stryker here may add credence to the rumors now, as Stryker has been long rumored to appear in the game, potentially voiced byWWE wrestler John Cena. This may sound too good to be true, but it’s worth mentioning that Ronda Rousey voices Sonya Blade, so anything’s possible.

robocop

Finally,RoboCopis rumored based on a character file called “ROB,” which comes right before Sheeva. The character “ROB” certainly exists, but the idea that it is RoboCop is mostly speculation. It’s possible that this file refers to another robotic character, perhaps one already in the MK11 universe, but there’s a certain robot vibe that would be perfect given Terminator is in the game. Still, it sounds like RoboCop could make himself right at home here.

Mortal Kombat 11 Kombat Pack 2 Expectations

Expectations from rumors themselves should always be kept in check, but assuming Kombat Pack 2 does exist, it has a lot to live up to. Many were unsure of the first Kombat Pack when it was officially announced, given some design choices and the length between releases bother some fans. But it’s hard to argue that it hasn’t been a huge splash, as each and everyMK11characterwas better than the last, and Spawn served as the ideal character to bring it to an end.

Living up to those expectations is a tough task forMortal Kombat 11developer NetherRealm Studios, but it has shown its determination to quality DLC content. As such, while the above list of characters—Sheeva, Fujin, Ash Williams, Takeda, Stryker, and RoboCop—sounds like a pipe dream, it’s clear thatMortal Kombat 11is capable of delivering such dreams.

Mortal Kombat 11is out now for PC, PS4, Stadia, Switch, and Xbox One.
