Few would likely have expected the opportunity to pick upResident Evil 4’s remake at a healthy discount even before the game launched, though.Resident Evil 4is scheduled to launch on March 24, one week from now. Thesurvival horror gameremake is priced respectfully. It costs $59.99 across all platforms, including PC, PS4, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S. Why Capcom decided to avoid the increasingly standard $70 price point forResident Evil 4’s remake isn’t clear, but fans certainly won’t begrudge the opportunity. And it makes the surprise discount all the more curious.RELATED:Resident Evil 4 Demo Mod Allows for Further ExplorationTheResident Evil 4remake discount comes from PC gaming storefront Fanatical. The deal is for 15% off of the digital Steam version of theResident Evil 4remake, bringing the price down from $59.99 to $50.99, a deal that almost never happens for major releases – let alone major releases that have yet to even launch. The deal won’t last long, however. It should end sometime around 4:30 PM PDT/7:30 PM EDT, so potentialResident Evil 4buyers shouldn’t wait long.
Fanatical isn’t limiting its 15% discount to justResident Evil 4’s standard edition, either. TheDeluxe Edition of theResident Evil 4remakeis also being discounted 15%, dropping from $69.99 down to $59.49. The Deluxe Edition ofResident Evil 4includes both the base game and an extra DLC pack.
