Over the course of a game, players will have stolen some of the most valuable treasures thatSkyrimhas to offer. Even those who don’t play as sneaky thieves will find themselves looting caverns full of loot belonging to bandits, monsters, or other creatures.

So when asked to steal some Argonian Ale early on inSkyrim, gamers might not even bat an eye. However, this particular “ale” is a rarity and is located in a somewhat busy location. With some careful maneuvering, players can make it out with the Argonian Ale and make Brenuin very happy.
Argonian Ale Extraction Walkthrough
First, players have to find and speak to Breniun. By day, he wanders around the stalls in Whiterun and in front of The Bannered Mare, his favorite drinking spot. At night, he is inside The Bannered Mare.
Next, talk to him and accept his quest to steal the ale by saying “I’ll bring you to ale, old man.” This will create an objective marker on the location of the Argonian Ale inside of The Bannered Mare. Now players just have to swipe it and bring it back.
That can be tricky. There are two entities that use the room. Saadia sweeps occasionally and OlfridBattle-Born makes food. Regardless ofwhether the Dragonborn followed Ralof or Hadvar in the intro, both characters will watch the character carefully while in the room.

Do not sneak until both have left the room. If players sneak too early, Olfrid or Saadia will stare at the character for a few seconds before resuming their normal patrol.
Eventually, both of them will not be in the room, at which point players can swipe the Argonian Ale without having to sneak. However, even a non-stealthy character should still use the sneak action before picking it up, just to be sure that nobody is watching. When the “Hidden” word appears, swipe the ale.
Giving beggars alcohol has perks, but this one is particularly satisfying. Give the drink to Brenuin and he will become a friend of the Dragonborn, giving them a health potion as thanks. The Argonian Ale itself can be pickpocketed back. It’s technically a potion that restores stamina while damaging stamina regeneration.
