How To Make Potions
Players need to use alchemy tables to brew potions. They are placed throughout the many alchemy shopsand inns ofSkyrim.The Dragonborn can even have one installed in their house if they choose to. Combining two or three ingredients makes a potion. Each ingredient carries four properties. Combining two ingredients with the same property will result in a potion carrying that effect. Eat or combine ingredients to learn their properties. Some ingredients are incompatible and will result in no potions made.
There are also detrimental properties that can lead to potions with negative effects. ensure to read carefully once the potion has been made. Combining ingredients with similar negative effects will create poisons that the Dragonborn can apply to weapons. Bee
Bees can be caught while they fly in the air or harvested from beehives. Two guaranteed samples are located in the Redwater Den west of Autumnshade Clearing. There are four beehives around the Honeystrand Cave south of Ivarstead.
Fly Amanita
These are red mushrooms that are found in most caves. Four guaranteed samples can be found in Tovald’s Cave north of Riften. Many mushrooms spawn in Pinemoon Cave northwest of Dragon Bridge.
Mora Tapinella
These are fungi that grow in the forests ofSkyrim.Only one guaranteed sample is located inSinderon’s Field Laboratory in Blackreach.Searching in and around the town of Riverwood is the easiest way to find some.
Scaly Pholiota
This fungus is found on trees in the Rift area ofSkyrim.Three guaranteed samples are located in Drelas' Cottage south of Morthal. Many spawn points are located around Darklight Tower to the Southwest of Riften.
