ASkyrimplayer showed off a mod that allowed them to cheese their way out of a tough encounter by chucking blocks of the dairy product with deadly precision. The player posted a short clip of their handiwork on social media, where otherSkyrimplayers chimed in with puns about cheese and thanked the cheese-throwing player for sharing the hilarious clip.

Though the fifth mainline entry inThe Elder Scrollsseries is over 11 years old, that has not stopped players from creating and discoveringall sorts of mods forSkyrimthat can change the way they play the game. Some mods may enhance the Dragonborn’s equipment and powers, while other mods are purely cosmetic, or may add comedic effects to otherwise tense quests. In the case of oneSkyrimplayer, the mod they showed off may fulfill all the aforementioned criteria at the same time.

On Reddit, a user named ApplicationOk6770 showed off aSkyrimmod called “The Best Modzzarella” and posted a clip on the r/skyrim subreddit. In the 13-second video, ApplicationOk6770’s character was adorned in armor made up of cheese wheels, and the mod changedthe iconic Unrelenting Force Shoutto throw a deadly block of cheese when used at full power. They then tested the cheesy mod on a nearby dragon, who immediately dropped dead upon getting hit twice with deadly cheese wheels that were conjured by the Shout. The mod also changed the “Dah” in “Fus Ro Dah” to say “Cheese!” instead. However, the Shout remained unchanged from its original form when only two words were uttered by the Dragonborn instead of all three. ApplicationOk6770 replied that “The Best Modzzarella” mod could be downloaded from Bethesda’s officialSkyrimmod repository for PC and console players.

The clip received over 5,000 upvotes on r/skyrim at the time of writing. ApplicationOk6770 previously received recognition fora hilarious Sheogorath roleplay videothat they showed off recently, in which they took up the mantle of the Daedric Prince of Madness and took down a dragon. In the comments section of their recent post, someSkyrimplayers said that Sheogorath himself would approve of the cheese-enhanced Shout used by the OP, while other players made some puns and jokes about the dairy product.

While there are other cheese-relatedmoments inSkyrimthat can cause hilarious bouts of chaos, sometimes having a mod that can cut through enemies can make for some great fun in the cold lands of northern Tamriel. WhileThe Elder Scrolls 6remains a long way off, fans of the series still haveSkyrimmods to turn to while the wait continues.
