Sony is expected to unveil thePS Plus Extra and Premiumgames for this month on October 11, with their release taking place on week later on October 17, but fans can go ahead and get a sneak peek at the list.PS Plus Extra and Premium are likely to add about 20 gamesas they did in September, but 7 have been made known by a highly-regarded leaker.
All leaks should be taken with a grain of salt, regardless of their origin, but leaker Billbil-kun has an impressive track record. They’ve accurately leaked PS Plus games, Epic Games Store free games, and more in the past, so they’ve earned the trust of many worldwide. According to them, it seems that thePS Plus Extra games are leaning into Halloween, at least a little.
According to Billbil-kun, seven of the games coming toPS Plus Extrathis month includeElite Dangerous, Dead Island: Definitive Edition, Disco Elysium, FAR: Changing Tides, Gotham Knights, Gungrave G.O.R.E., andThe Dark Pictures Anthology: House of Ashes. While the latter is the only actual horror game, it’s hard to ignore the popularity of zombies with Halloween (Dead Island), as well as the popularity of superhero costumes when younger (Gotham Knights). Overall, for just a taste of the month’s offering, it’s looking pretty good.
