As previously anticipated, Bungie is slowly rolling out new activities over the course of Season of the Lost. Unlike any other season before it, Season 15 is longer than normal coming in at six months, nearly double what a typical season does. As such, the content inside of it is being staggered to help fill the extra time before theWitch Queen expansion launches later in February. One such late addition are the Grandmaster Nightfalls, which are finally launching at the nextDestiny 2reset on October 8.
Originally introduced to the game last year,Grandmaster Nightfalls represent some of the most difficult contentin the game from a challenge standpoint. At a higher power level, these missions typically feature modified enemies, more champions, as well as more difficult modifiers to up the challenge levels. After going on a bit of a hiatus, Grandmasters are coming back though the selection of strikes this season which are going to be available have left the community feeling a bit uneasy.

The Nightfall strikes included in this season ofDestiny 2are well known for having major issues and bugs, many of which can derail a perfect run. In the rotation this season is Exodus Crash, The Corrupted, and The Fanatic, three strike missions that the fans have been asking Bungie to remove and fix. Last month, oneDestiny 2fan put together a complete list of all the gamebreaking bugseach mission has in an effort to highlight the frustrations they can cause players, especially on higher difficulties.
These include bugs that give Overload Hobgoblin champions unlimited health regen, potential softlock locations like dying during the elevator phase of The Corrupted, and even killing the tank too quickly on The Fanatic strike, which again softlocks the mission. The post was showered with praise and accolades from theDestiny 2community, and now with the Grandmaster versions of these strikes (as well as the already difficult Proving Grounds strike) on the way, fans are worried that getting the platinum medal or the associated Conqueror title will be near impossible due to bugs and other broken elements.
Unfortunately, the issues currently present with these strike missions aren’t the only problems with the game at the moment. While Destiny 2 continues to be incredibly popular, weapon issues have been cropping up more and more this season. Leviathan’s Breath, an exotic heavy bow, has been dealing less damage following a recent game update. Worse yet, the exotic fusion Telesto is once again causing issues inDestiny 2,this time granting players infinite supers in the PvP and Gambit game modes.
