While a great deal ofStar Wars Jedi: Survivor’s content is completely new, one of its best side activities is a direct continuation of a feature from its predecessor, 2019’sStar Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. In that game, Cal was tasked with finding various seed pods around the galaxy, and bringing them back to the Mantis to grow in a small chamber on the ship. This feature, which allowed Cal to briefly escape the harsh reality of combat, connected the Mantis to all the places it had traveled.Jedi:Survivorcontinues this feature, albeit in a heavily expanded way.

InJedi:Survivor,Cal makes Pyloon’s Saloon – Greez’s dusty cantina in Rambler’s Reach – his new base of operations. When he and BD-1 visit the roof, they find an area that is clearly meant to be gardened. This process, will span a large portion of the game, and is considerably more complex than inFallen Order.Cal must locate the appropriate seeds, recruit a gardener, and go through the process of developing a garden. Though Cal will receive the “Growth Spurt” trophy/achievement when complete, the real reward is the process itself.

How to Unlock the Garden in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor

WhenCal first arrives at Pyloon’s Saloon, and he has free rein to explore the building, he will simply need to visit the roof to have access to the first garden plot. However, Cal will not be able to do much until he has seeds to plant. In order for Cal to expand the garden, he will have torecruit Pili from Jedha. While this is not technically required for the “Growth Spurt” trophy, it will give Cal much more space to grow the required plants.

How to Recruit Pili Walde in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor

The best time to recruit Pili is during the"Reach Pilgrims' Sanctuary"portion of Cal’s second visit to Jedha. Pili is located in the Blustery Mesa section, and Cal will pass directly through their chamber while looking for Brother Armias. Cal will be traversing a tall rock pillar when he’ll come across a small opening where Pili is located. Cal need only speak to Pili, after which they will be waiting on the roof of Pyloon’s Saloon when Cal returns.

If the player has already gone through the mission without recruiting Pili, simply return to the Blustery Mesa by fast-traveling to the Crypt of Uhrmameditation point.

Where to Find Seeds in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor

To find seeds, Cal will need to look forglowing bugs flying around plants. The game does not do a great job of explaining this, but Cal can find seeds from the moment he is set free on Koboh. When Cal finds a plant with the bugs hovering around, cut them down with the lightsaber to retrieve the seed pods inside.

How to Complete the Growth Spurt Trophy/Achievement

To complete “Growth Spurt,” Cal mustgrow all 10 different plants species. Luckily, players looking to get this done quickly will be happy to know that all 10 plants can be found on Koboh. Here’s where each of them can be found:

Crimson Jelly Spire

Devastated Settlement

Once each of the seeds have been planted, and are fully grown, Pili will let Cal know that this particular task is complete. When this occurs, the trophy/achievement will be unlocked and Cal will have access to the rewards, includingStar Wars Jedi: Survivor’s map upgradethat reveals all seed pods.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivoris available now on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
