Within the trailer forTales of the Jedi, there are plenty of easter eggs, apromising start for the show, and its impact on the canon for theStar Warsuniverse. Some of the best easter eggs feature in the trailer, proving to fans that when they get to experience the show, there will be far more in store.
8Attack Of The Clones Obi-Wan
Die-hard fans of theStar Warsmovies may recognize the brief appearance of Obi-Wan Kenobi. The character is not seen sporting his look fromRevenge of the Sith, or the animatedClone Warsseries, but instead, Obi-Wan Kenobi has hisiconic Jedi mulletand beard fromStar WarsEpisode 2:Attack of the Clones.
ConsideringTales of the Jedifeatures flashbacks and origins tofan-favorite characters, it’s no surprise that audiences would be sent back in time to see Obi-Wan Kenobi before theClone Wars. This mullet look was seen in Disney Plus’Obi-Wan Kenobiseries.

7Dooku’s Dark Side Temptation
When audiences met Count Dooku inAttack of the Clones, many were intrigued not only by his red lightsaber but by his intellect. Count Dooku was seen using Dark side powers but did not have the corruptible and signature yellow and red eyes that all Sith do once theysuccumb to the Dark side.
Audiences will finally learn of Dooku’s true allegiance inTales of the Jedi, as he is seen in the trailer usingDark side Force powers, much to the displeasure of Qui-Gon Jinn and Mace Windu. Force choke and Force lightning are Dark side exclusive powers.

6Saesee Tiin
In the background of an unknown Jedi funeral is Saesee Tiin, a Jedi rarely seen inStar Warscanon. However, this Jedi is noted for battling Supreme Chancellor Palpatine, after the Jedi discover that he is Darth Sidious. Saesee Tiin is near other Jedi, like Obi-Wan Kenobi, and whether he will have a notable role is currently unknown.

No matter the role Saesee Tiin plays, it’s a fun easter egg simply seeing him there, and it further ties the threads of the Jedi together for the animated shows and the movies. The character is certainly due to an action scene that doesn’t involve him being impaled with a red lightsaber.
5Jedi Elder Tera Sinube
Another character that die-hardStar Warsfans spotted in theTales of the Jeditrailer is the Jedi Elder known as Tera Sinube. This character appeared in afew Clone Wars episodesand became somewhat of a mentor and friend to Ahsoka Tano when she was a Jedi Padawan. Tragically, fans spotted this character’s dead body encased in amber at Fortress Inquisitorius inObi-Wan Kenobi.
Hopefully, Tera Sinube has a speaking role inTales of the Jedi, as it would be a shame to see him as an easter egg, rather than having some say on matters. Especially after the character’s tragic and unseen end.

4Bail Organa
Briefly, fans will be able to spot Bail Organa in theTales of the Jeditrailer. This easter egg may allude to the character having an important role to play in one of the episodes, as Bail Organa is somewhat instrumental inStar Wars, thanks to the rebellion as well as being the adoptive father to Anakin and Padme’s child, Leia.

Bail’s importance isn’t just in being the father of Leia Organa, but his relationship and bonds with Ahsoka Tano and Obi-Wan Kenobi after the fall of the Galactic Republic and Jedi Order.Tales of the Jedioffers the first look at what Bail is up to during the first year of the Empire.
3Padme’s Funeral
As far as tragedy goes in theStar Warsuniverse, few are as emotional as the death of Padme Amidala. Her funeral was filled with patrons known in theStar Warsuniverse, as well as respecters and admirers of the deceased Queen of Naboo. Fans aren’t ready for an emotional return to Padme’s funeral, especially with the easter egg of Ahsoka Tano being present.
It’s a huge reveal to discover that despite the Jedi and Force-sensitive being hunted, Ahsoka Tano respected Padme Amidala too much to miss her funeral, and was present for it, despite the present dangers.

2Clone Trooper Call-back
Tales of the Jedipromises to follow the stories of Count Dooku and Ahsoka Tano, both former Jedi on different paths. One scene in theTales of the Jeditrailer shows a young Ahsoka Tano receiving training fromher Master, Anakin Skywalker. This training involves deflecting and avoiding blaster fire from the 501st clone troopers.
In general, this is a cool and tense scene involving Ahsoka’s dedication to Anakin’s harsh training. However, to die-hardStar Warsfans, this scene is a call-back to when Ahsoka was surrounded by clones during Order 66, complete with identical spins and flips.

1Potential Sixth Brother
Before the seventh season ofThe Clone Wars, Ahsoka’s story was told in her canon book,Ahsoka. This book detailed her encounter with one of the early Inquisitors, the Sixth Brother. In the book, Ahsoka killed the Sixth Brother, and then purified his lightsaber crystal to give it the iconic white blade she has inStar Wars:RebelsandThe Mandalorian.
Although the Sixth Brother has had an appearance in theDarth Vadercomics, his look does not match that of the mysterious Inquisitor inTales of the Jedi. However, it is more than likely the Sixth Brother, considering Ahsoka at this point does not have her lightsabers.
