How to Complete the “Deeper in the Mines” Story Quest

When players reach Level 5 of the Mines and complete the“Explore the Mine” quest, another Story Quest triggers encouraging players to venture deeper. The“Deeper in the Mine”quest text states that the mini elevator is still functional, and it allows players to quickly return to any elevator doors they’ve discovered.

Elevators are availableevery 5 floors. This means thatlevels ending in 0 or 5will have an elevator door, which serves as a checkpoint allowing quick access to deeper levels at any time. To complete the“Deeper in the Mines”story quest, players are required to reachLevel 40 of the Mines.

To advance deeper into the Mines, players must break rocks and defeatall sorts of creepy monsterscrawling around. Doing so automatically spawns a ladder which players can use to move down a floor in the Mines. Rocks can be mined using a Pickaxe and only have abase chance of 2%to spawn a ladder. They are a great source of Stone and various kinds of Ores and Geodes.

On the other hand,each monster killedhas a15% chanceto randomly spawn a ladder. Players may encounter the following enemies on their way to Level 40 of the Mines:
