Starfield: False Positives Quest Guide
Aftercompleting the Defensive Measures quest, players will need to wait 24 hours before they can talk to Keoni again. Once enough time has passed, find her in Akila City, and she’ll say that someone is messing with the data provided by her sensors.
Keoni will suspect that Davis Wilson is the one behind the tampering, and she’ll ask players to pay him a visit. The man will refute any allegations and ask players to join them on patrol. Along the way, they’ll see a deactivated Akila Security robot lying face down in the sand right by the outskirts of the city. Davis notes that the supposed Ashta tracks aren’t natural and that the security bot was the one making all of them.

Soon, Ashta will emerge and attack the player. Get rid of them and meet back with Davis at Akila City after checking the computer terminal inside the Akila Security Barracks.
Read the Robot Updates file under the Access Logs folder to find that Bailey Kirklin was the one responsible for sending the false positives to Keoni’s detectors. Find her outside and confront her about what she’s done. Players can let her go easy or blackmail her intogetting some extra Credits. Likewise, they can choose not to tell Davis that she’s the culprit.

Afterward, speak with Davis Wilson again and tell him what happened. It’ll take some time before he can sort things out, and Keoni will need another 24 hours to get some clean data. This will mark this part of the quest chain, and players will get a handful of Credits and a bunch of XP for their trouble.
In case Davis Wilson isn’t appearing anywhere in the city, try jumping to a different system, wait for 24 local hours, then jump back to Akila. He should once again be patrolling the walls as per usual or standing near the gate leading to the outskirts.
