Updated May 15th, 2024 by Christopher Norman Worcester:After a short peroid in Beta, Starfield has a massive new update that adds several important new features. This update will add the patch notes for Starfield Update 1.11.36
Given its immense size and scope, there is little doubt thatStarfieldwill feature its fair share of bugs. With the game now in the hands of fans and the first update released, those bugs will begin to be addressed. This first update will begin a process that will spanStarfield’s lifecycle, with the developers constantly trying to stay ahead of any new issues that arise.
This guide will catalog all available Patch Notes forStarfield,beginning with the first update released in expectation of early access. Going forward, there will be notes provided with every new improvement, hotfix, and update, which will be added here as soon as they are made publicly available.
As this guide will be collecting all patch notes forStarfield, it will remain in a state of constant update. Return often to find the most recent information.

AllStarfieldpatch notes will be cataloged by their release date and update number. The information will be found here whenever a new update is released.
It is important to note that the so-called ‘Beta Updates’ only apply to the Steam Beta version ofStarfield.These updates will usually appear on Xbox – sometimes in full, sometimes partially – not long after the Beta version releases.

If you would like to opt in to the Starfield Beta update, please follow these instructions:
1.) Open your steam Library and navigate to Starfield
2.) Right click on “Starfield” and select “Properties”
3.) In the new properties pop-up window, select “Betas”
4.) In the beta drop down to opt into, select “[beta]”
5.) Wait for app to download new build and launch

03/06/24 - Beta Update -1.10.30
Update Highlights:
StarfieldBeta Update 1.10.30brings a massive list of fixes and that to the Steam version of the game, which means that many (if not all) of the fixes will soon be coming to other versions ofStarfield.Other additions include new poses and expressions, and removing the penalty for using ‘Undo’ when using digipicks in the Security mini-game.

StarfieldUpdate 1.9.67focuses on visual upgrades, performance and stability, and the integration of AMD’s FSR 3, which will have a significant impact on the overall visual performance ofStarfield.

StarfieldUpdate 1.9.51.0brings improvements to the lighting systems. Bethesda also notes their appreciation to all those taking part in the Beta update programs, and mentions that they will continue to use it going forward.
