While it’s become standard in many modern games, it’s unfortunately been confirmed thatStellar Bladewill be launching without a dedicated photo mode. This revelation came from the game’s developers in arecent interview with Famitsu. However, there is hope thatStellar Bladewill add photo mode as part of a post-launch update. It was suggested that if fans really want the feature, it could potentially be added later on. Nothing’s been outright confirmed, though, so those looking forward toStellar Bladeshould certainly keep their expectations in check when it comes to a potential photo mode.

Stellar Blade Won’t Have Photo Mode at Launch

Photo mode has become quite a popular feature, but there are many major games that release without it, for one reason or another. In fact, this isn’t even the first time a PlayStation exclusive has launched without it. As some may recall,God of War Ragnarok’s photo mode was missingat the time of that game’s launch in 2022, though it was added in a post-launch update that came less than a month after it hit store shelves. It’s possibleStellar Bladecould enjoy a quick turnaround for its photo mode as well, but fans shouldn’t hold their breath.

We do know that the developers already have plans forStellar BladeDLC and content updates. Notably, it’s been confirmed that new costumes will be released for Eve after launch, with 30 available in-game on day one. IfStellar Bladeis a hit, it’s possible that the game could enjoy even more post-launch content updates than what’s currently in the pipeline, so it will be interesting to see what happens.
