A Surprisingly Good Defensive Option

Despite this, he is worthy of his surprisingly good card here as his base stats are supported by theAnticipatePlaystyle Plus which will allow him to read the game far more effectively than others. Players can even pick up his base version foraround 25k coinsif they missed the original SBC.
7Ramires (UCL Hero, 87 Ovr)
An All Round Midfield Player
The Chelsea cult hero most famous for his goal in the 2012 Champions League Semi-Finals has, what is most likely, the most expensive 87-rated card onFC 24. Ramires is incredibly versatile, andfast, and willbreak up opposition attacks with relative ease. HisInterceptPlaystyle Plus only helps him to do more and more.
Most Ultimate Team players apply aShadowchemistry style to Ramires to boost his defending and pace to get the most out of his core strengths.
6Antonio Di Natale (Base, 88 Ovr)
Beautifully Meta
Di Natale is currently a wonderfully affordable option for the majority of players at around 150k coins. He excels at almost every part of attacking: his finishing and acceleration are 92 with his balance and ball control at 91. He is clinical and will glide around the pitch as players are controlling him.
He also has the effectiveFinesse shotplaystyle plus which is far and away the best attacking playstyle plus to have onFC 24despite numerous supposed nerfs.
5Lucio (Base, 89 Ovr)
Nicknamed ‘The Horse’ In Real Life
Known to fans as ‘The Horse’ due to his long galloping runs on the ball despite being a defender, Lucio reached the pinnacle of club and international football by winning the World Cup and Champions League with Brazil and Inter Milan respectively. His Hero card, released at the start of the game, still stands up as one of the best in his position.
His medium/high work rates andBlockPlaystyle Plus will see Lucio attempt to close down the ball quickly and is an especially good option for players who defend aggressively.
4Bompastor (Fantasy Hero, 91 Ovr)
Best In Class
The first person to win the Women’s Champions League as a player and manager, Bompastor has arguably the best left-back card onFC 24.Her high passingand shooting stats, 90 and 88, also allow her to play as a winger when and if players desire.
Although she has two Playstyle Pluses,Relentlessis key here as it allows her to run up and down the wing all game long without any significant drawback.
3Carlos Tevez (UCL Hero, 90 Ovr)
Less Divisive Than Real Life
His career in England is perhaps best remembered for his controversial move from Manchester United to rivals Manchester City in 2009 but his card is less divisive. Players will unanimously agree that his card is one of the best strikers that money can buy.
His 5-star skills and 4-star weak foot only add to what is a stunningly quick and strong player who is deadly in finishing in the box. HisTechnicalPlaystyle Plus only makes himeven quicker withthe ball at his feet.
2Yaya Toure (Triple Threat, 88 Ovr)
Over Achiever In-Game
Coming at well over a million coins, Yaya Toure’s Triple Threat variant performs far beyond what his base stats state. The majority of players apply aShadowchemistry style to turn Toure into an exceptional performer in every aspect of midfield.
He feels very smooth and easy to use and will be able to glide past opposition players in large part thanks to hisPress ProvenPlaystyle Plus andthis is despite his relatively poor agility and balance. It is something of a mystery as to why so well, therefore, but players shouldn’t question it.
1David Ginola (Base, 89 Ovr)
Value For Money
Although this list could contain one of Ginola’s other variants, this version offers the best value in terms of the level of ability to the total cost. Coming in at around 1/5 of his Triple Threat variant cost, the base version of Ginola is still a brilliant option for any player’s team.
His 5-star skills and weak foot are great tools that should be exacerbated by the player by applying aHunterchemistry style to increase his pace and shooting.
