PSVR games may not come out all that often, but that doesn’t mean that there aren’t still plenty of great PSVR games for kids for parents to keep their eyes out for.

Fruit Ninja VRis a Virtual Reality remake of the classic mobile hit. InFruit Ninja, the goal is to slice the fruits that are flying around to build up combos and gain abilities that allow players to slice more fruit. Simple? Yes. Addictive? Absolutely.

The VR version of this game brings in the 3D element, where fruits literally fly at players fromalldirections. It can get a bit hectic at times, which only adds to the excitement when a child eventually pulls off a ridiculously high score.

A few years ago, one couldn’t go anywhere without seeing somebody playingAngry Birdson their phone. The hype behind the game has died down in recent years a bit, but the VR version of the gamebrought back a little lifeto the series.

For the unfamiliar,Angry Birdstasks the player with launching birds with various abilities at buildings in an attempt to kill green little piggies. In the VR versions, the game is largely the same, but with a huge graphics overhaul and new ways to tackle stages.

TheNVIDIA VR Funhouseis perhaps one of the most physically accurate VR games available right now. While it’s technically NVIDIA’s first game, their years of expertise with graphics and game engine optimization were put to good use by the Lightspeed Studios team.

As the title suggests, it’s a classic Circus funhouse, complete with archery, multiple shooting galleries, basketball, whack-a-mole, and more. It’s perfectly kid-friendly and well worth trying if minigames seem like a lot of fun for players.

Although kids are probably a little too young to even startthinkingabout getting a job,Job Simulatoris still a kid-friendly experience that won’t jade them like a real job. There is surprisingly almost noadult content in this game, aside from grown-up responsibilities and themes.

Job Simulatorlets players take on jobs in a variety of different scenarios from a cubicle worker to a convenience store clerk. There’s not much in the way of story, and few repercussions for one’s actions, so it’s the perfect place to let a kid be a bit silly in a “real” simulator.

Infinite Minigolfis a PSVR-exclusive game that functions as both a creative game and a minigolf game. Half the game is making custom courses to share with others, and the other half is actually playing them.

It’s technically aninfinitely customizable gameand its multiplayer modes allow players to take on other people both online and locally. It might take a sec to switch over the gear, but it’s great for a night of minigolf without leaving the house.

9Fantastic Contraption

Fantastic Contraptionis one of the more educational games available on PSVR, but that doesn’t mean it’s not fun. The game tasks the player with building machines to accomplish given challenges with limited resources.

It works as both a puzzle game and a physics simulator, and it’s both a brain tickler and a relaxing building game. It’s not going to be for everyone, but it’ll be great for kids who love to mess with objects and build things in real life.

8Tilt Brush

Tilt Brushisnot technically a game, but it’s something everyone should experience regardless of being a kid or an adult. It’s essentially a 3D painting studio, but as anyone who has played it can confirm, it’s alotmore than that.

It’s very customizable with different brushes, effects, and methods of painting, and the 3D canvas doesn’t just extend around the player, it has depth and multiple brush strokes can be layered on top of each other in different planes. It’s awe-inspiring and certainly a good pick for an artistic kid.

Squishiesis a traditional 3Dpuzzle game brought to VRin 2018. The visual style is adorable and vibrant, and the puzzles the game tasks the player to complete are somewhere perfectly between too easy and too hard.

It’s a great game for inquisitive kids or kids who like colorful games, but be prepared to help them out if they are really young and attempting the game for the first time. It can get frustrating later on in the game, but it’s nonetheless worth figuring out together.

TIlt Brush PSVR Childrens Games

GNOGis a bit of a psychedelic puzzle game that is based in the “world of toys and secrets.” It’s a serene, peaceful game that has an extreme amount of interactivity – each “head” works like a real-life tactile toy with dozens of interactive, moving parts.

The game was originallynota VR gamethat was ported over to PSVR, and it was well worth it. The neon vibrancy ofGNOGmakes it stand out from other puzzle games, and it’s sure to be a stunning experience for a young one too.

Carnival Games VRis a remake of the originalCarnival Gamestitle that came out in 2007 for the Nintendo Wii. It’s a franchise nobody expected to return, but the game’s formula works perfectly in the VR space.

It’s not quite as accurate to real-life physics asNVIDIA Funhouseis, but it’s got its own unique style and a very kid-friendly assortment of games to play. Without going to the Arcade, it’s the best way to play Skee Ball.
