However, despite most LEGO games being friendly and simplistic, they all contain difficult full-completion aspects, with a lot of extras to collect across every LEGO game that has ever been released. However, in the trialing extras and hidden secrets found across the franchise, there are someLEGO games that are harder to 100% completethan others.

Updated on March 19th, 2025 by Chris Harkin:Although the LEGO franchise has gone in some different directions recently, such as setting a licensed LEGO game within another game in Horizon, the classics are still just as playable as ever. Fans of their Star Wars, Marvel, Batman franchises or more will find that there is a lot more to do in some of their beloved favorite LEGO adventures than they might realize. With many more licensed games planned, including a rumored Warner Bros IP which could be something like Harry Potter or DC, fans will have to keep their eyes peeled for other 100% challenges in this long-running franchise.
AlthoughLEGOhad already taken on the fascinating challenge of bringing the entire Marvel Universe to their delightful format of game,LEGO Marvel’s Avengersfocused more on the Marvel Cinematic Universe portrayals of the characters. It also had a lot to do, with levels based not just on the Avengers movies, but on individual adventures from movies likeIron Man 3,Thor: The Dark World, andCaptain America: The Winter Soldier. This gave fans plenty to work with, and it gave theLEGOCompany all sorts of trophies to create, prompting much difficulty and forcing players to put careful time into achieving everything.

LEGO Avengersfeatured a lot of the same type of trophy. Playing as several different characters in the same level or session, or achieving the same thing with different characters in the same session, like growing Ant-Man, Black Goliath, and Fin Fang Foom in one sitting to achieve the Giant-Sized MARVEL trophy. The majority of achievements inLEGO Avengersweren’t so hard to get as they were time-consuming and unlikely to be achieved unless the player went specifically trophy hunting.
With an open world to roam and explore for free outside of the specific levels, upgrades to the levels from the original films, as well as the addition of the fourth film,LEGO Indiana Jones 2,makes for a fantastic entry in LEGO’s pantheon. It was also challenging with the sheer volume of content, not to mention the many hidden bonus levels and excessively specific trophies. For instance, defeating 50 Russian soldiers with Mutt, or firing a bazooka 100 times, which took some specific grinding to manage.

Although the trophy list isn’t as long or complex as some otherLEGOgames, this sequel has seen more than a few players struggling with complex tasks like completing every level in quick play, finishing off all the plane races, and unlocking tricky characters like the Grail Knight and the Interdimensional Being.
The Lego Moviewas a great success for an already huge franchise, which led to spin-offs and sequels, not to mention video games based onLEGO’sown pop culture phenomenon. With a host of lovable characters, the traditional collect-a-thon type of game, not to mention having to collect a billion studs for a single trophy,The LEGO Movie Video Gameis insane and wonderful.

To complete everything this game has to offer, players will need to unlock not just characters, but master builders, red bricks, instruction builds, golden manuals, and achieve “the special” in every single level. This game left many players stuck in the Kragle - so to speak - and remains one of the tougherLEGOgames to complete fully.
Though theLEGOfranchise’s trips to Middle Earth weren’t considered as successful as some of their other licensed franchises,LEGO The Hobbitis a very fun romp through Middle Earth with a lot of the charm of the films featuring Bilbo Baggins and his adventure across Middle Earth. It also is a surprisingly tricky one to fully complete, featuring trophies for unlocking the usual full list of characters and extras, but also featuring challenges like collecting 10 billion total studs.

LEGO The Hobbitis a fun game in the long-running list of LEGO licensed games, and it has some different extras to other games in the series, such as collecting Mithril bricks and assembling both Mithril items and perfect Mithril items. Many different abilities have to be used up to 50 times to gain other trophies, and though most of the hard work can be done in single-player, co-op play is also involved, adding another dimension of difficulty.
TheLEGObrand is known for taking on popular franchises, so it was no surprise to see them catching onto the hype of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and creating a game based onTheAvengers, with other Marvel heroes also joining to fight the combined team of Doctor Doom and Loki. The challenges associated with getting the platinum trophy in the game are numerous, but many players thought it was worth it just to spend more time in sucha great superhero open-world game.

From collecting one billion studs to unlock the Billionaire Philanthropist trophy to earning each level’s True Believer achievement, there are a variety of challenges to keep players busy. One significant obstacle to getting the platinum trophy is that players will have to complete different parts of the game in solo and co-op. Despite the challenge,LEGO Marvel Super Heroesis very fun to try and 100%, as fans will get to see many Easter Eggs, including a trophy that involves saving Stan Lee from every peril in the game.
The newest blockbusterLEGO Star Warsgame has put together everything from previous entries tomake the future look bright for this franchise. Including all nine films from throughout the Skywalker Saga as parts of a huge game means there is an enormous volume of content included. As such, it’s unsurprising that it is challenging to complete everything that the game has to offer, given there’s a literal galaxy full of content.

The list of in-game achievements inLEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Sagais extensive and includes objectives like achieving True Jedi status in every level and completing all level challenges. Additionally, with studs and mini-kits to collect, there are plenty of hidden extras that have to be hunted out across the galaxy as players attempt to deal with an endless wave of content to achieve the platinum trophy in this jam-packed LEGO adventure.
One of the stranger choices for a LEGO game,LEGO Rock Band, was a very fun experience that allowed players to go on their own adventures across a brick-filled world in a variety of game modes. Players needed to achieve some fascinating goals for the 100%, including completing a full world tour, playing at every single venue on the way, and completing the “endless set list”.

Not only that, but players also had to make and spend like rock stars, hiring every position to help them as well as buying every vehicle and a long list of different items. Every Rock Power challenge needed to be completed for separate achievements, and, worst of all, players had to complete a 4-player co-op run where all four players hit 100% of notes in a song. It’s no wonder that theLEGO Rock Bandplatinum trophy has remained elusive for many players.
It isn’t often thatLEGOhas been brave enough over the years to release a larger title in their gaming series which isn’t a licensed game. Without another IP to help market the game, there is more challenge involved in making something likeLEGO City Undercovera success. However, this game based on theLEGOCity line was an action-filled romp that has the fun gameplay players are used to from licensed titles.

It is also one of the most challenging platinum trophies of all to achieve. There are a huge number of challenges, involving races and free-running and several different cities and styles, all of which have to be completed for a sequence of trophies. Additionally, the highest rank of Lego City Hero has to be achieved on every single level for another trophy, and a huge list of hidden extras and collectibles that dwarf most otherLEGOgames must be found, such as police shields, graffiti sculptures, and disguises, in addition to the more common Red Bricks.
There are a lot of things that can make a LEGO game challenging, andLEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2has them all. It has a huge number of levels, many of which come with their own trophy for completing them. This time around, Marvel heroes coming from across multiple dimensions came togetherto face off with Kang the Conqueror, and players were placed in quite a challenging predicament.

From mini-kit comic collecting and achieving True Believer status to completing all the challenges and races in Chronopolis, there are many challenging trophies to overcome inLEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2. Not only that, there have been six separate DLC packs that add a whole extra layer of trophies for players to try and get to be completely finished with this game.
DC Comics has also had a fair share of LEGO adventures, mostly with Batman and other members of the Justice League. But there was a fascinating gamethat depicted that group of superheroes disappearing, and the various villains of the DC Universe teaming up to take on heroic roles, all to stop a group from another universe that was invading.
This strange game was hugely fun, told a unique story in the DC Comics Universe, and challenged players with trophies revolving around LEGO collections that had to be completed, as well as performing graffiti across the levels and buying everything in-game. Additionally, to get to the platinum trophy, players had to perform tasks like completing all missions, riding all the fairground rides in the hub, and putting very specific characters in a party together at once.
