The new characters inThe King of Fighters Allstarare XV Nakoruru and XV Haomaru,one of the strongest characters fromSamurai Shodown. XV Nakoruru is a Balance Type character who has a Leader Skill that increases the attack of blue element fighters to a certain level. When an Active Skill is used, the cooldown of the Finisher Skill is reduced and grants Symbol to enemies with physical damage. XV Haomaru is also a Balance Type character, and his Leader Skill increases the Active Skill damage of extreme fighters and the Finisher Skill to a certain level. XV Haomaru is immune to Stun and Freeze, allowing him to preserve any damage received and recover when he hits an Active Skill.
The King of Fighters Allstarupdate also added new battle cards. Once equipped on a unique fighter, XV Nakoruru can reset the cooldown time for Finisher Skills.
