The 2022 Game Awards revealed tons of games that have gotten the community all riled up. From the highly anticipated sequel of EA’s bestStar Warsgame in years to the jaw-dropping reveal of a newDeath Strandinggame, this year’s Game Awards show has been a massive hit with gamers.

These recent reveals are a sure sign that the industry is finally ready to move forward onto the next generation of consoles and develop games that will be able to fully take advantage of the newer and more powerful hardware. Though no new exclusives have been revealed for the Xbox Series X, there are some massive third-party games coming to this console in 2023.
7Blue Protocol
Being Developed by Bandai Namco Online and Bandai Namco Studios,Blue Protocolis an upcoming anime-inspired online RPGset to rival the likes ofGenshin Impact. It will be a free-to-play multiplayer action game in which players can embark on their very own fantasy adventure and explore the beautiful and dangerous terrains of Regnas.
The game will offer deep customization options and will have a heavy focus on its action-style combat.Blue Protocolwill be released on previous as well as next-generation consoles and PC, with a closed Beta coming for PC in the second half of 2023.

6Crash Team Rumble
TheCrashFranchise has been on a roll lately and is now getting another exciting game next year.The Game Awards show revealed the trailer forCrash Team Rumble, which is an upcoming multiplayer game being developed by Toys for Bob. The game will see Crash, his friends and his enemies battle it out in a 4v4 fashion to see who can collect the most Wumpa fruit.

Each character will have a distinct play style that fans will have to master in order to win.Crash Team Rumbledoes not have an official release date, but is expected to release sometime next year.
5Transformers Reactivate
Even theTransformersfranchise is set to make a return next year, as evidenced by the world premiere trailer ofTransformers Reactivate. Being developed by Splash Damage,Transformers Reactivateis an upcoming co-op action gamethat will add a new chapter to theTransformersuniverse.
The cinematic trailer showed intriguing glimpses of the story and amazing visuals, but the gameplay for it is still shrouded in mystery.Transformers Reactivatedoes not have an official release date yet, but a closed beta is going to be making its way to PC and consoles in 2023.

4Armored Core VI Fires of Rubicon
Known for games likeBloodborne, Demon’s Souls, andSekiro, the legendary developers atFromSoftware chose to reveal the studio’s next big projectat the Game Awards 2022. This time, the developers are planning to revive one of their other IPs, namely theArmored Coreseries, with the reveal ofArmored Core VI Fires of Rubicon.
Armored Core VI Fires of Rubiconwill be a cross-generation title but will offer players an exciting new action experience. The game sees extra-terrestrial corporations and resistance fighters engage in conflicts for the control of a new mysterious substance on the surface of the planet known as Rubicon 3. The game is expected to release sometime in 2023.

3Earthblade
Earthbladeis a new pixel-styled 2D platformer being developed by Maddy Makes Games and Extremely OK Games that was revealed at the Game Awards 2022. These developers are best known for creatingCeleste, which is regarded as one of the best 2D platformers to come out in recent years.
Earthblade’sart style and gameplay are very reminiscent ofCelestebut whereCelestehad a real-world setting,Earthbladeseems to be taking the fantasy root. The game will follow a character named Nevoa who was revealed to befree-roaming around a dynamically loading mapin the game’s trailer.Earthbladeis set to release sometime in 2024.

2Judas
Bioshockcreator Ken Levine has finally unveiled his next big gamewith the reveal ofJudasat the Game Awards 2022.Judasis a psychologically thrilling first-person shooting game that stars a young girl named Judas as she wakes up to find her starship disintegrating.
Trapped alongside Judas are a quirky group of other characters which she may either have to work alongside or kill to make her escape from the dying ship. The game does not have an official release date yet but is set to come to PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PlayStation 5.

1Star Wars Jedi: Survivor
TheStar Warsfranchise is also set to make a comeback in 2023 with the release of EA’s next game in the franchise,Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. This game serves as a sequel to 2019’s critically acclaimedStar Wars Jedi: Fallen Orderand seesthe return of an older Cal Kestisas he tries to survive the threats of the Galaxy following the events of the first game.
The trailer forStar Wars Jedi: Survivorshowed spectacular cutscenes and in-game footage, revealing new and exciting Jedi abilities that fans cannot wait to try out. The game is set to release in March 2023.
