How to Change Aspirations
There can be many reasons why players may want to change the aspirations for their Sims. For example, when players give their Sim a wife and a kid to look after, theSim may fail to excel in their career. This is a common problem that many players encounter in the game. If gamers want a Sim to focus on their family, they always have the option to change the aspirations of the Sim in question.
To change the aspirations for a Sim, look for the aspiration panel on the bottom right side of the screen. Click on that panel and locate a green star on the top right. Clicking on this star will take players to a menu containing different aspirations.
From the list of aspirations, players can select any aspiration they want and confirm it by clicking on the “tick” mark at the bottom. And yes, ensure that the goals of the selected aspirations are achievable for the Sim in question.
It is important to remember that players will get the bonus trait for the aspiration that they originally selected inthe Create-A-Sim mode. For example, if a player started with the bodybuilder aspiration but later changed it to creativity, they will be awarded the bonus trait for the bodybuilder. However, gamers will get reward traits for every aspiration they complete.
Changing Aspirations in CAS Mode
Alternatively, players can also change the aspirations of their Sims in the CAS mode. For this purpose, enable cheats by pressing Ctrl+Shift+C first. Once the cheat box opens, type “testingcheats true” in there. Once cheats are enabled, type “cas.fulleditmode” and press enter. Next, press “Shift” and select the Sim. This will take gamersto the CAS menuwhere they can remove a Sim’s aspirations and choose new ones.
