Each vehicle has strengths and weaknesses that make them suitable for specific missions. Complicating matters, Season 14: Reap & Sow introduces new farming tasks requiring specialized tractors. The choices below are thebest trucks inSnowRunnerto complete difficult contracts.

Updated on August 03, 2025, by Adam Corsetti:The winter season is an appropriate time to discover what’s new inSnowRunner. Since this article’s last update, Season 14: Reap & Sow debuted more satisfying gameplay mechanics for farming missions. The latest DLC includes vehicles suited for harvesting, with two making our list of the top SnowRunner vehicles. Recent upgrade options have also prompted new picks as older trucks become more desirable.
25Tatra Phoenix
More than a Mobile Gas Station
Tatra is a Czech automaker with a long history of producing reliable trucks. Unfortunately, the four Tatra vehicles included inSnowRunnerare often criticized for their lack of versatility. TheTatra Phoenixis the best of this bunch, unlockable in the Don region’s Antonovskiy Nature Reserve. While it’s incompatible with many add-ons, a superpowered engine and excellent fuel efficiency make the Phoenix worth considering.
The Phoenix is agile enough of an off-roader to slither its way down tight paths. Even so, it’s not until players combine a high-range gearbox with a muscular engine that the Phoenix’s potential is realized. Its backbone chassis with independent suspension keeps the truck stable, even when climbing over large rocks. The Phoenix is also a logical choice to strategically place on maps without many gas stations.

24Azov 73210
The Best Crane In The Game
One of the first goals of manySnowRunnerplayers is to reach level 20 and unlock theAzov 73210. Among specialized trucks, the Azov 73210 is one of the game’s best options since it accepts several types of heavy-duty and logging cranes.
The Azov 73210 is easy to control for inexperienced players thanks to its AWD and differential lock that always stays active. The truck also has decent fuel capacity and an engine that is efficient enough to avoid excessive stops. On the other hand, its front bumper tends to get caught on objects, an issue that was only partially rectified in a previous game update.

23Mack Defense M917
Don’t Waste This Dump Truck’s Potential
Fans ofConstruction Simulatorwill naturally gravitate toward theMack Defense M917, one of the best trucks inSnowRunneramong off-roaders. While it’s based on a dump truck, players will find more uses than transporting gravel ordisposing of waste. The M917 is a highly resilient four-wheel drive vehicle as tough as heavy truck alternatives.
After purchasing a version of the game with the Season 10Fix & Connectexpansion, the M917 can be rescued in the British Columbia region. Accordingly, this Mack truck excels at construction tasks and can also haul water and logs. With ample power and unique engine and gearbox choices, players should consider making the M917 a permanent part of theirSnowRunnerfleet.

22EarthRoamer LTi
A Scout Without Limitations
With many new DLCs,SnowRunnerplayers are treated to increasingly powerful scouts. TheEarthRoamer LTican act as a specialized vehicle with radar to complete specific missions. However, it’s well suited to cross the entirety of the two Austrian maps released in Season 14: Reap & Sow.
The EarthRoamer LTi sits far above roads, enabling it to drive over obstacles that block smaller scouts. It holds ample fuel and comes with generous repair points, leading to fewer detours to gas stations and garages. As with most of the topSnowRunnerscouts, the EarthRoamer LTi can attach to scout and truck trailers, enhancing its versatility. After finishing the Taking Stock of the Damage contract, gamers can experience why it’s an essential scout for any buddingtrucking empire.

21Voron Grad
A Truck For Any Task
TheVordon Gradis a lighter off-road truck that is surprisingly versatile. Many all-purpose trucks inSnowRunnertend to be slower, but the Grad is one of thefastest non-scout vehiclesto zip around maps with decent payloads.
Another issue with the more agile vehicles is poor fuel capacity, which is why the Grad’s 330-liter tank is so impressive. This truck is also remarkably fuel-efficient, so it’s an option for longer hauls. An array of tire and suspension upgrades make the Grad even more desirable. The truck’s well-rounded capabilities are only reduced by incompatibility with many logging add-ons.

20Ankatra 1160
A Tractor That Excels On and Off Fields
SnowRunnerintroduced farming tasks in Season 8: Grand Harvest to a mixed reception. For Season 14: Reap & Sow, players have a more realistic farming experience with refined gameplay mechanics. TheAnkatra 1160debuted in the latest DLC and is as versatile as anyFarming Simulator 25tractor.
Unlike previousSnowRunnertractors, the Ankatra 1160 is useful even after harvests. It’s compatible with farming trailers and heavy trailers to complete a wide variety of missions. The Ankatra 1160 is surprisingly nimble, and its ability to take sharp turns is an advantage on winding roads. Players can upgrade its default six-wheel configuration with double tires for even more stability. With agricultural tasks now a significant part ofSnowRunner, it’s worth completing the Old Friend contract to unlock the Ankatra 1160.

19Azov 67096 “Atom”
Refueling Is Optional
When racing fans compete in virtual 24 Hours of Le Mans races, they spend countless hours insim cockpits. SomeSnowRunnermaps, like the new Season 13 region, Almaty, require players to drive almost endlessly without encountering a gas station. Introduced as DLC just before the new season, theAzov 67096 “Atom"is invaluable in this map.
In Almaty, gamers hopelessly circle giant construction pits, searching for paths into and out of these areas. As a modified version of the Azov 64131, the Atom is a heavy 8x8 truck with well above-average fuel efficiency. It can also function as an excellent support or recovery vehicle with available fuel and maintenance frames. Unfortunately, the Atom is also rather slow and tends to tip over if drivers aren’t watching for obstacles.

Sometimes Bigger Is Better
As part of theSnowRunnerSeason 10Fix & ConnectDLC, theKenworth 963is a beast of a truck that’s useful well beyond its initial fuel scout-carrying mission. Ironically, the origins of this super-heavy truck date back to the giant Middle East oil industry, where it often drove throughharsh desert environments. The Kenworth 963 can also handle mud, snow, and the steepest inclines, as a testament to its versatility and incredible raw power.
SnowRunnerplayers will find many uses for the Kenworth 963, including its ability to carry all types of logs. Drivers who have nightmares about tipping over far from any garage will appreciate the truck’s stable wide frame. However, the Kenworth 963 may need to use the fuel this vehicle often carries since, like many larger trucks, it burns fuel at a high rate.

17Rezvani Hercules
A Seriously Powerful Scout
TheRezvani Herculesis one of the more uniqueSnowRunnerscouts available as a separate paid DLC. This 6x6 pickup truck is essentially an elongated Jeep Wrangler with a dazzling green, white, and orange color scheme. The Hercules' more interesting features are its working light bar and a horn that sounds like apolice vehicle.
This scout pickup truck excels on rugged terrain and benefits from some impressive suspension travel. Its 80-gallon fuel capacity, ability to carry plenty of supplies, and solid construction make it one of thebest trucks inSnowRunnerfor scoutingaccessible roadways and paths. However, the Rezvani Hercules tends to sink in the mud even with appropriate tires.

16White Western Star 4964
An Early Game Workhorse
TheWhite Western Star 4964givesSnowRunnernewcomers a glimpse of what a heavy-duty truck can accomplish. Available in the Smithville Dam Michigan map, the massive truck requires a tricky mission to unlock. Also, it initially lacks essential upgrades like AWD and differential lock. Still, the White Western Star 4964 soon becomes a more powerful version of the popular Western Star 6900 TwinSteer.
The most upgradeableSnowRunnertrucks usually become mightier as the game evolves. That’s also the case with the White Western Star 4964, now one of the most well-balanced heavy vehicles. The big-rig truck rarely gets stuck on any terrain, and thanks to a high-sitting snorkel, it avoids water damage. While the White Western Star 4964 is time-consuming to obtain and upgrade, it’s a great introduction to the power of customization inSnowRunner.
