Marvel Studios’Thor: Love and Thunderwill be Natalie Portman’s debut as Lady Thor and fans have been anticipating just how she will materialize physically on screen. In the past, Portman has been embodying the character of Jane Foster, who will be going through a massive transformation in the upcoming film. Production onThor: Love and Thunderhas officially wrapped and so far fans have been in the dark as to what exactly Lady Thor’s costume will look like, until now.
Spoilers were spilled when aThor: Love and Thundercrewmember shared a photo of a T-shirt that they had been gifted for their work on the film. With this new merch reveal, Lady Thor’s custom was finally exposed. The grey-colored shirt features the three main heroes of the film, with the God of Thunder himself featured in the center. Next to him, side by side, are the heroines who will assist him the most in the film.

Lady Thor’s bright red cape is what seems to be highlighted the most, as it cascades behind her. Fans seem pleasantly surprised that Lady Thor’s suit is quite similar to the way the comic books portrayed her. This also hints that perhaps the film will be following the narrative andstoryline of Lady Thor in the comic booksquite closely. Lady Thor’s long, flowy hair trails behind her as a sturdy helmet sits on top of her head.

Seeing Lady Thor with her hair so long is quite interesting considering Portman’s character will be diagnosed with cancer in the film. It is throughout her battle with cancer thatshe elevates and transitions to Lady Thor. The design of the shirt features retro-inspired colors, another nod towards the classic comic books that they will be pulling inspiration from. On Thor’s opposite side is his other partner in crime, Valkyrie. Her typical royal blue cape makes its presence known on the merch.
The merch even shows that Thor’s armor has been slightly tweaked, with gold accents being added throughout the outline. Just with this merch drop alone, fans have a much better idea of what they can expect from the three heroes.
A hero’s suit is one of the most notable and crucial aspects of their identity, so fans receiving this small glimpse of the merch is very exciting. With these incredibly detailed costumes, it seemsThor will undoubtedly have some strong alliesto help him take on any battle.
