After months, the Photonic Legacy Set is leavingFortnitedefinitively.Fortnitehas hundreds of cosmetic items that players can purchase any time they rotate into the Item Shop, but there are also exclusive items that can only be obtained under specific circumstances - usually by completing themed quests,unlockingFortniteBattle Pass tiers, or even subscribing to the monthly membership service. Cosmetics that can be obtained this way are time-limited and usually cannot be obtained any other way once the quests expire, the Battle Pass ends, or a new monthly pack is issued.
The monthly subscription thatFortnitehas to offer is called theFortniteCrew; it costs $11.99, and each month players receive 1,000 V-Bucks and get access to a skin and a glider, a harvesting tool, or an emote - these cosmetics are exclusive and will become unattainable once the pack is renewed. Members will also own the Battle Pass at all times for free, and if they’ve already purchased it with V-Bucks, they will get a full refund of 950 V-Bucks. Additionally, theFortniteCrew Pack now offers a free subscription to the Rocket PassinRocket League.

Back in November 2022, the Photonic Legacy Set was announced asanother perk included with theFortniteCrew Pack. Gamers that became members at any time between November 2022 and May 2023 would receive it for free. The May Crew Pack is just around the corner, and this is the last chance that players have to get it before it’s gone forever. Gamers interested in obtaining it have until May 31 at 7 PM ET to becomeFortniteCrew members and receive the Photonic Striker Pickaxe.
Anakin Skywalker will be joiningFortnitevery soon, and if his skin doesn’t include a lightsaber harvesting tool, the holographic look for the Photonic Striker might be the perfect combo with Anakin himself. But given the various styles and colors, this pickaxe will look great with just about any skin in the game.
