Tiny Tina’s Wonderlandsfeels like a Borderlands game at its core, but the newest release from Gearbox offers some unique twists and turns that are pleasantly surprising. The gunplay feels right at home with the original franchise, but grenades have been replaced with a cavalcade of spells, each with their own unique modifiers and random attributes. Players also have new classes to explore, each with a medieval Dungeons & Dragons-inspired skillset, very much in line with Gearbox’s trademark humor.

But the best part ofTiny Tina’s Wonderlandsis that players are free to mesh together classes as they progress far enough into the story. In fact, they have unlimited freedom to swap back and forth between whatever “class hybrids” they see fit once they complete the main story. This gives so much more depth to an already deeply customizable experience. With six classes to choose from, players have a lot of interesting combinations they can put together. Here’s a look at some of the best class combos that players should definitely try.
Hammerzerker (Clawbringer + Brrzerker)
Those looking for an Elemental Warrior that can take punishment may want to consider speccing into Clawbringer and Brrzerker, with aheavier emphasis on the Brrzerker’s tree. The Frost element can be an incredibly powerful tool, as it can slow down and outright freeze enemies. Thankfully, the Brrzerker has access to a ton of useful skills that can increase frost damage while simultaneously adding additional AOE effects to take down hordes of enemies. Pair this with their Rage of the Ancients passive (which increases Frost Damage while they’re enraged) and their Dreadwind spinning axe skill, and it’s easy to see how Brrzerkers can output tons of frost damage in a short period of time.
The hard-hitting class can build especially well for Melee but those looking for Frost-imbued weapons and gunplay can still dominate the battlefield, especially if they tank up with Clawbringer. By doing so, they’ll gain access to the Wyvern companion to help decrease aggro and do damage on ranged targets while simultaneously gaining access to additional ward strength (Clawbringer’s Tier 1 Radiance) as well as Damage Reduction (Clawbringer’s Tier 2 Rebuke)

Sporceror (Spellshot + Spore Warden)
Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands gives players access to some pretty powerful spells (especially if they roll with increased damage and radius modifiers) and those that enjoy slinging magic can increase their overall spell potency by combining a Spellshot and a Spore Warden. Although many of the Spore Warden’s abilities focus heavily on magazine size and gun damage, the real star of the show is the Mushroom Companion.
Spellshots gain access to two very important skillsin Glass Cannon (which increases spell damage dramatically while simultaneously keeping wards from recharging) and Sever the Thread (which causes gun critical hits to sometimes reset all of their spell cooldowns). The only issue with these two skills is that players will be fragile without their wards and can have a hard time lining up critical shots under duress. That’s where the Mushroom Companion comes in. It can tank pretty well thanks to increased health from Spore Warden’s Tier 1 Kindred Heart and can also taunt nearby enemies with Spore Warden’s Tier 2 Spore Cloud.

Mistdancer (Stabbomancer + Spore Warden)
Those that want to dish out some serious damage should spec as much as possible into Critical Chance and Critical Hit Damage. Having high parameters in both attributes means players will be critting enemies often and hitting them for massive damage each time a critical hit procs. The Stabbomancer is definitely a good choice for those that are looking to increase their critical hit prowess, but it reaches new heights when combined with the Spore Warden.
The Mistdancer is one of the most dangerous class combinations in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands and players will be able to escape danger easilythanks to Stabbomancer’s stealth skilland Spore Warden’s taunting Mushroom Companion. Precision weapons with high damage output or shotguns can be a Mistdancer’s best friend, thanks to their ability to dip in and out of danger via stealth. By taking Spore Warden’s Tier 1 Kindred Heart and Tier 2 Spore Cloud, they can turn the Mushroom Companion into a taunting tank that will hold aggro for the Mistdancer as they stand back and score high damage shots on enemies. Spore Warden also has access to a gun damage increasing Tier 1 passive called Eagle Eye, which pairs well with Stabbomancer’s Tier 4 Sneak Attack, which increases critical hit damage.

Frozen Shivver (Brrzerker + Stabbomancer)
Although Stabbomancer pairs well with Spore Warden for eagle-eyed snipers, it pairs even better with the Brrzerker by giving players access to a myriad of punishing melee attack-based passives. Stacking additional Frost Damage can make the Brrzerker Dreadwing spin attack downright devastating, especially when boosted with the Stabbomancer’s Tier 1 abilities, Arsenal and Haste, which increase Melee Attack Damage and Melee Attack Speed respectively. Stabbomancer and upgrade a Frozen Shivver melee build even further by tapping into its Tier 5 A Thousand Cuts passive, which increases damage each time a critical hit is achieved, stacking further with melee attacks.
There are honestly a lot of great melee abilities buried deep in each tree for Stabbomancer and Brrzerker, giving players a lot of utility to build a melee fighter that fits their playstyle. Those looking to dish out heavy melee damage should definitely consider this combination.

Deadshot (Graveborn + Spellshot)
Players who would rather drop their guns and pick up as many fancy spells as possible can combine the Graveborn and Spellshot. Considered to be the two “magic casters” in the title, it only makes sense that pushing the two halves together would create an even stronger spell slinger. There are a lot of skills in both the Graveborn and Spellshot trees that directly correlate to spell damage and Spellshot’s Ambi-Hextrous action skill allows players to carry multiple spells at once.
Graveborn’s Lich Companion can be useful for extra damage, and the Graveborn tree has a couple of Kill Skills that will help to decrease spell cooldowns and increase spell damage. The Life Leech can help keep spell slingers alive and there are even passives in theGraveborn tree that will allow players to do increased spell damagethe lower their health is, which is a boon for those that use the Glass Cannon passive on the Spellshot side.

Wildfire (Clawbringer + Sporewarden)
Perhaps one of the best solo builds in the game, the Wildfire gives players access to two companions in the Mushroom and Wyvern, allowing them to stalk the lands of Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands as a veritable 3-man squad. Those that spec into Lightning damage can make use of Clawbringer’s Storm Dragon’s Judgement action skill, which can throw down a massive hammer that does sizeable AOE damage to all enemies caught up in its damage-over-time style circle. Pair this with the fact thatClawbringer can unlock a Lightning Breath attack for its Wyvern, and it’s easy to see why speccing into Lightning Damage can be so useful.
Sporewarden gives a lot of damage potential to this class' companions, by offering the Tier 1 passive Kindred Heart, which will increase both companion damage output and their maximum health. It also has access to Bullseye, which will not only increase the Critical Hit Chance for the Wildfire’s guns but also the Critical Hit Chance for both of their companions.
