While it’s technically possible to playGrand Theft Auto Onlinewithout earning the ire of the Los Santos Police Department, most players will end up in their crosshairs at some point. But while that’s an expected part of gameplay, things can get a little complicated when other players take the role of the boys in blue, asstreamer xQcwell knows.
Twitch streamer and former esports player Felix ‘xQc’ Lengyelrecently condemned the state ofGrand Theft Auto Online’sNoPixel roleplaying server. He described it as “literal shambles” and blamed cop players for the server’s decline.

xQc hasn’t streamedGTA Onlineroleplay in over a week and explained why during a recent stream. “The server is in literal shambles,” said the streamer. “Literal shambles. GTA RP is literally degrading faster than I’ve ever seen before. Everybody is malding.” He blames the problem on the players filling the role of the LSPD. According to xQc, the cop role players are breaking the rules to take down criminals, which prevents other players from having fun.
The streamer did not specify which rules the LSPD players were breaking, but this isn’t the first timexQc’s criticized theGTARP server harshly. In September, he slammed a police player for breaking RP by moving around erratically during an arrest attempt. In the same incident, another continued to call for backup and relay tactical information after being killed in the ensuing shootout. Before that, back in August, he complained on stream that many of the cop players were “burnt out” and more interested in winning than roleplaying correctly. The outburst came after they shot a hostage, ruining a scenario that xQc created. The streamer also claims that some of the server’s police log in just to go after him.
In fairness, it’s not like xQc is always the most rule-abiding role player. In fact, the administrators havebanned him fromGTA 5’sNoPixel server multiple timesfor violating its guidelines. In January, he was banned for 24 hours after coordinating with others to spam the server’s 911 pings. These pings make noise and get very annoying when players set off several hundred in quick succession. That wasn’t the first time the popular streamer violated the server’s rules. xQc’s anger might then seem hypocritical, though that doesn’t necessarily mean he’s wrong about the situation.
It’s not clear if or whenxQc might return to theGrand Theft Auto Onlineroleplaying server. The streamer had taken breaks before and sounded ready to quit permanently during a stream last August. Still, the French-Canadian streamer has always managed to find his way back.
