The Pokemon Company is celebrating its history with the addition of various Pikachu wearing various hats inPokemon SwordandPokemon Shield. Starting with a hat fromthe Kanto region, we’ve also received caps from Hoenn and Sinnoh fromPokemon Ruby/SapphireandPokemon Diamond/Pearlrespectively, and today, The Pokemon Company released a code for a Unova Cap Pikachu fromPokemon Black/White.
This marks the first time players will have easy access to all five hat wearing Pikachu and comes just ahead of release ofPokemon SwordandPokemon Shield’s DLC package, Crown Tundra. Crown Tundra will introduce a new area to explore as well as new Legendary Pokemon and some new game modes to boot when it launches on October 22.

In order to receive thePikachuwith the cap of the player’s choice, fans will need to access the Mystery Gift section within the options menu. Simply put in the code matching the respective Pikachu and that Pikachu will be automatically added to the player’s party or their Pokemon Boxes if their party is already full. Each Pikachu starts at Level 25 with the Hardy nature, the Static ability, and equipped with the moves Thunderbolt, Quick Attack, Iron Tail, and Electroweb. Players can also bring each Pikachu to the Move Reminder to re-learn Volt Tackle.

The Unova Pikachu works exactly the same way with its own unique code and that code isP1KABESTW1SH. By using all 5 current codes, players could even have the chance to have a party entirely comprised of hat wearingPikachu, a force to be reckoned withfor sure.
Players can even use their new Pikachu to tackle one of the most anticipated DLC additions toPokemon SwordandPokemon Shield, the Dynamax Adventures. This mode allows a group of four players to navigate their way through a Pokemon den with the end goal of capturing a Legendary Pokemon includingall past Legendary Pokemonin the series.
This is the fifth of 8 Pikachu with hats that players will be able to receive with theKalos region, Alola, and World Cap Pikachu arriving within the coming weeks. Keep in mind that each code will expire on November 30, so be sure to catch ‘em all while it’s still possible.
