ACall of Duty: Warzone 2player recently shared a trick showing how to drop and take no fall damage without using a parachute. SometimesCall of Duty: Warzone 2players need to drop straight into the action, whether due to a redeploy or just wanting a quick start in a hot drop. Dropping straight into the water without a parachute is one choice, but can lead to some damage. Plus, players have to swim afterward. This new option not only dropsWarzone 2players on land, but doesn’t deal any damage whatsoever.

It’s not often that players need to make arisky drop inWarzone 2. Redeployments typically happen early in the match, and once a redeployment has been purchased it won’t be available again later. When a cheeky redeployment does come through, however, where a player lands can make the difference between having a chance and losing immediately. Opponents are watching the skies for redeployed enemies, after all.

In a video shared by eyeqew on TikTok, theWarzone 2playershows what options a player has for a hard redeployment without a parachute. First, they show what it looks like to drop into water. Where landing on land will kill the player immediately, water will at least let the player live - they’ll take massive damage, but they’ll live. The water drop is mostly shown as a point of comparison, however.

What the video is really about is a “secret” way to drop without taking any damage. After the water drop, eyeqew shows that ifWarzone 2players want to drop without a parachute and take no damage what they should aim for is a dumpster. The video shows eyeqew landing perfectly on top of a dumpster and taking absolutely no damage. Further, they land standing up and can immediately act without being inhibited. It’s as if they landed with a parachute, but faster.

Warzone 2players do have a warning for those interested intrying out theWarzone2 dumpster trick. as they say that this is not easy as it looks. First, it’s not easy to direct the player’s fall onto a such a small place, dumpster or not. Second, players have to land directly on top of the dumpster, not to the sides. Otherwise,Warzone 2players could die immediately. It’s probably going to take practice to get used to, and even then it won’t always work out.

Despite the danger involved with the dumpster landing,high-skill FPS maneuverslike this are what manyWarzone 2players want more of, as they could be the difference between a squad winning and losing a fight. Players don’t have to use it all the time, after all, as it’s not like there are dumpsters everywhere inWarzone 2. Still, it could be a key tool to use at just the right moment.

Call of Duty: Warzone 2is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
