Elden Ringhas no shortage of bosses, andShadow of the Erdtreebosses add a lot more variety and challenge to the base game’s roster of bosses. One of the first major bossesof the DLC that most players will come across is the Divine Beast Dancing Lion, atop the Belurat, Tower Settlement legacy dungeon.
InShadow of the Erdtree, Remembrance bosses like the Divine Beast Dancing Lion always drop a unique item that can be used to acquire other items – or to gain more power. This guide explains how to get the Remembrance of the Dancing Lion, and what to do with the Dancing Lion Remembrance once you acquire it.

How To Get The Remembrance of the Dancing Lion
TheRemembrance of the Dancing Lionis a unique item that is one of the two things theDivine Beast Dancing Lion drops. After beating this boss, the “LEGEND FELLED” screen will appear, and you will automatically receive the Remembrance of the Dancing Lion in your inventory.
When this message and pop-up disappear, though, youshould see another item on the groundwhere you felled the Dancing Lion. This is theDivine Beast Head armor piece, which is an extremely heavy piece of head armor that is about as large as the player character when worn.

Youdo not need to use the Remembrance of the Dancing Lion to receive this strange headpiece– which is rumored to have something to do with a somewhat nearby NPC who called the Beast to life during its cutscene.
All Remembrance of the Dancing Lion Boss Rewards
When it comes to do with the Remembrance of the Dancing Lion, you really only have two choices: toconsume it for a flat amount of Runes, ortrade it in with Enia at Roundtable Holdfor a selection of boss items. Consuming this Remembrance for Runes (and indeed every Remembrance in the DLC) is not recommended as boss items are incredibly strong, and offer unique movesets and effects that can’t be found anywhere else. In every case, it’sbetter to get a new iteminstead of consuming it for Runes, in case you want to equip it later on.
To trade in the Remembrance of the Dancing Lion, bring it to Enia at Roundtable Hold, who you should be intimately familiar with by the time you are ready for the DLC in the first place. Enia will offer either theEnraged Beast Talisman, or theAsh of War: Divine Beast Frost Stomp.

Neither of these have an associated Rune cost, but selecting one will prevent you from getting the other without duplicating the Remembrance. You canduplicate all non-demigod Remembrances at Walking Mausoleums that do not have a bell.
