WhileFortniteoften gets all the attention for its fast and frequent crossovers,Dead by Daylightis certainly no stranger to the world of IP collaborations, with its first one taking place just a few months after its initial release. Since 2016,Dead by Daylighthas enjoyed over 10 major crossovers, with at least one dropping consistently every year since its debut.
Recently,Dead by Daylighthas been focusing more heavily on crossovers than ever before, but it seems to be working out fairly well for both developer Behaviour Interactive and its player-base, with each crossover being received quite well, fromAliento Chucky toAlan Wake.Dead by Daylight’s next crossoveris dipping into the deep pool of video game IP once more, this time delivering a collaboration with the long-standingTomb Raiderfranchise, which is set to hit the game on July 16.

Three New Tomb Raider-Themed Perks
The43rd Survivor to joinDead by Daylight’s ever-growing roster,Tomb Raider’s Lara Croft is heading to the multiplayer horror game on Jul 13, 2025, alongside three unique Perks, each one themed after Lara’s various video game adventures over the last few decades. As usual, Behaviour has done a good job of integrating Lara Croft’s distinct skillset and personality into her three unique Perks, with Finesse referencing the protagonist’s agility, and both Hardened and Specialist relating to her penchant for tomb-raiding and exploration.
In terms of usefulness,Dead by Daylight’s Lara Croftdoes seem a bit more helpful at first glance than the recently released Alan Wake Survivor, with her Perks being pretty versatile. A boost to Fast Vault is always useful during chases, the ability to reveal the Killer rather than scream could be a game-changer, and reducing the number of Repair Charges needed to complete a Generator sounds very helpful. These Perks will likely make Lara Croft a must-buy for some fans.
It’s been confirmed thatDead by Daylight’s Lara Croft will come with at least two outfits on launch day. Her standard skin depicts her as the youngest iteration of Lara Croft fromCrystal Dynamics’Tomb Raider’Survivor' trilogy, specifically from the 2013 reboot. Lara Croft’s Prestige skin inDead by Daylightsplatters blood all over her character model, which appears far more fitting than Alan Wake’s Prestige skin, which does the same.
Dead by Daylight’s Lara Croft will be fully-voiced, much like Alan Wake and Ash Williams before her.
While it hasn’t been confirmed yet, it’s possible thatDead by Daylight’s Lara Croft could receive a few more outfits, either on launch day or in the months following it.Dead by Daylight’s Alan Wake Survivordropped with four alternate outfits. These outfits included two ‘Very Rare’ skins, one referencing Alan Wake’s appearance in the first game, and the other referencing his appearance at the start ofAlan Wake 2. Two ‘Legendary’ skins were also added, changing Alan Wake into co-protagonist Saga Anderson, or superfan Rose Marigold. It would be great if Lara Croft got the same treatment, coming with alternate outfits based on her many different looks throughout theTomb Raiderfranchise.
